I have just tried Kerasal. It is a small tube, but it has done wonders for my dry and cracked heels. I found it at Target in the Dr. Schols section.
I was wondering does anyone have extremely dry feet? Its very annoying to me. I've tried so many different things. If you had or have this same experience I would like to know what you used or presently using.
Thanks a whole lot for any advice,
G. M.
Wow! I want to thank you all for your advice, I really do appreciate them I am trying the socks, I know it will take a while before I see real results but they are worth a try.
Not forgetting those Mamas with samples I'll be in touch with you.
Thanks Again and many blessings to you all.

I have just tried Kerasal. It is a small tube, but it has done wonders for my dry and cracked heels. I found it at Target in the Dr. Schols section.
i have this problem with my feet, ankles, and elbows (sometimes hands) and only just within the past couple of months (maybe 6). i tried just about everything, even a skin "grater" and nothing. my dr. prescribed me a steroid type of cream to use 2 times a day until the tube is gone. she also told me to continue to moisten throughout the day with the THICKEST lotions i can find...so far it's this cvs cream for extremely dry skin (comes in a 'tub') and the bath and body works that's made specifically for feet and extremely dry skin. it's starting to make things a bit better then it was, still hasn't stopped, but definitely better. hope you find something. let me know what works. :o)
Hi G.,
I get very dry feet sometimes, it was really bad when I was pregnant. Avon has some really good feet products. You should look at their website.
Good Luck

chinese medicine would tell you it's a deficient liver (meaning possibly your liver is taxed and under-performing) ... and i always find that an extra heavy daily dose of omega fatty acids especially flax and fish oils solves the issue within a month or so.
Hi G.; I think I can help you with your problem. These products are amazing. I found the products after researching for all natural,hypo-allegenic skin care for myself. I found Arbonne. I was so satisfied with the products that I decided to share them with everyone I know. I would suggest The RE9 anti-aging body care system. Or the Intelligence Hand creme & Conditioning Oil(used together) You can check it out on the website www.Arbonne.com Once you get to the website click on the upper left side "Products",click on before & after photos for both The Intellegence & Re9. If your interested e-mail me back & I'll show you how to order online. K.
Hi G.,
Oh yes do I have the answer for you! Arbonne has a couple of products that work wonders - their RE9 Body Serum and Body Lotion! I suffer from the same thing and it still amazes me to see how my feet are if I use the products consistently.
If you send me your private email address, I'd be happy to send you some amazing before and after pictures!!

Hi!
Since my son was born, my feet have become increasingly dry, to the point this winter when the top layer of skin on my heels began cracking and I could peel it off (ew, gross, I know). My problem seemed to be my general negligence, and so once I removed the worst parts and forced myself into a ritual of applying any kind of moisturizer once I dried my feet after a shower, they improved dramatically. It sounds like you're already on the case, so I'm not sure if this is at all helpful, but I just wanted to chime in, just in case you're not yet applying a product when your feet are still holding water.
Good luck!

I found that using that little 'grater' daily to exfoliate and get rid of the extra dry skin. Also using St Ives Vitamin E Advance Therapy lotion helped. Use often all day. The most important thing is to treat from inside out. Lots of water keeps the skin hydrated. I also make sure I am getting the essential oils in my diet. Olive oil on my salad and for tea at nights, a teaspoon in a cup of lemon juice and hot water. If you can add a little cayenne pepper. Good for the gastro intestines and the oil shines through. That is what I do so this is not medical advise.
Aquaphor Healing Ointment by Eucerin is great, it is a bit greasy but it works. Glop it on then put socks on over the top. Also like others have suggested use a pumice stone whenever you shower. I put an exfoliator on the stone. The Body Shop has a good one with many scents to choose from it has a lot of oil in it to keep from drying out the skin and I prefer the synthetic pumice like they use in nail salons seems to work better.
Hi G.,
I had the same problem until I tried Arbonne's body care system. It is a two piece system, a serum and a lotion. The products are vitamin C based and smell wonderful. I have been using it only a short time now and the difference is remarkable. I am an Arbonne consultant so if you would like to try a sample, I can mail it to you. You can contact me via email at ____@____.com or by phone ###-###-####.
Thanks and good luck. J.
Wear socks and shoes (preferably shoes that tie/sneakers) from the minute you get up until the last minute before you go to sleep. Stop going barefoot at all for 3 weeks, and see the difference. Lotioning (any) right before bed doesn't hurt.
I agree with the good oils in your diet. When u have a salad, add olive oil. When you cook, use olive oil. Try a fish oil supplement 1x day (it's good for a lot of things, not side effects). Or try a tablespoon a day of flax seed oil.
There are a ton of products on the market, but u prob. have everything at home to help this problem. Soak your feet in epson salt. When ur feet are in the water, scrub with salt or sugar, to exfoliate. Out of the water, use a pumice stone to get rid of the old dry skin. Make sure between the toes are dry so u don't get fungus, use argo cornstarch (yes the one you cook with) it has no irritating or allergic agents, and it's feels soft and smooth. The bottom of yr feet shud be a little damp, and use good ol' fashion vaseline (get the generic brand from the dollar store) and lop it all over your feet, white cotton socks for overnight and in the a.m., you'll see the difference after just that one time.
Even if that is too consuming, do it 1x, u'll notice a difference and when u don't have time for the whole kit and kaboodle, do the vaseline and socks every night and it will eventually subside and be gone!

Hello G., I've had extremely dry feet before and I agree it is annoying. I found a cream/lotion at a local wal-mart called blu goo. I'm not sure I spelled it correctly, but I can tell you
it is made from Emu oil. It's all natural and works great. I would use a pumice stone/file, after a shower then apply the lotion and be good to go. It works great I used it when my feet would crack, it clears them up and helps to sooth them. I work in retail, so I'm on my feet a lot. I've also been told extremely dry skin is due to a lack of zinc in your system, weather it is true or not I don't know. I hope this helps, good luck.
Vitamin E oil. Very inexpensive and drugstores like CVS have a bottle.
Mother Anne
I know received a million responses, however, I had the worse dry feet and now they're baby soft! I used (and still use) 100% coconut oil. You can exfoliate after soaking in warm water too but I mostly put it on in the morning, slip socks on over my feet and put some on again at night. This only took like 2 weeks! Good luck to ya.
Hey there. I see you got a TON of responses...now you're probably really confused. ha. :)
Anyway, my aunt recently said her new husband has the worst dry cracked feet EVER and he just started using Emu oil and his feet are almost smooth now. She just ordered us some for my husband's eczema so I'm looking forward to trying it. Maybe you could do a search for it online and order some if you're interested.
Try Aquaphor (available in any drug store) as a moisterizer once in the morning and especially before going to bed....apply liberally, perhaps after a good soak in warm bath with epsom salts. Also try a sun lamp or a tanning salon.Good luck!
The dermo can give you some prescription stuff that smooth out those soles in no time.
I do!
The answer is Cetaphil, sold at Brooks/Rite Aid stores.
I have tried EVERY cream and the dermatologist told me this was her favorite and guess what, it is mine too.
Hi G.,
Try body lotions with aloe and vitamin E. You can also reinforce by pouring a little olive oil into the lotion before using.
S.

Over the last few months I've been using "Microplane 4-piece Remove, Smooth, and Hydrate Foot Care Set" from QVC. Different from other foot systems, the buffer is not disposable, you just change the piece. Only warning is to be carfeful not to use a lot of pressure when planing the skin. What's really good about this system is the foot cream. It's called dreamsicle and smells like a creamsicle! They suggest using the foot cream more often if your feet are very dry. Another thought is to use the cream at night and put on thin cotton socks before going to sleep.
Hi G.,
I too had dry feet and dry skin. I have been using Arbonne products for several years now and my skin has never looked or felt better. Arbonne products are swiss formulated, vegan, with no mineral oil. You can visit my website, www.krutherford.myarbonne.com to learn more or contact me at ###-###-####. The extensive product line is superior and affordable as you can become a member and buy products at 35% off. Give them a try, you will be very satisfied!

Hi G.- while I don't have the problem now, I did at one point, I believe either during or just after pregnancy or nursing or something motherly (aren't all the weird, embarrassing ailments we moms have directly attributed to our bearing or sustaining of our beloved tots? :) My kids are big now, 13 and 15. Anyway, my mom taught me this trick: just before bedtime, slather on GOBS of thick, good ointment (like aquaphor, nivea, even balmex) - I mean it, tons. Then put on lightweight (lest your feet get so hot it wakes you up) cotton short socks, like the bootie kind, and sleep with them on. Do this for a week or more and your feet will be silky smooth. I do the same with my hands - vitamin E oil on the cuticles, tons of nivea (in the jar, just like balmex), and put on cheap drugstore cotton gloves, and sleep with them all night. My hands are really, really soft now (just did it last night in fact!).
Good luck!
L
This may sound weird but it has worked for me in the past. I buy the baby aveeno lotion and smother my feet with it at night then put a plastic bag over each foot while I sleep(it keeps them moist) OR I use a foot file and put lots of lotion on after. Hope this helps.
Have you tried putting Eucerin on your feet at night before bed? That works wonders for me. I just put it on right before I lay down (and make sure you don't have to get up for any other reason for at least ten minutes). I also use an over the counter cream for dry skin in the morning after I shower called Am-lactin. But I found the Eucerin is the best thing. Good luck!
Jackie M.
Try Cracked Heal Repair by Luxuriant. They sell it in Bed, Bath and Beyond. It works great! I put it on before I go to bed and after a day or two, my feet are soft again.
olive oil seems to work well
hey this does work. take lotion and slather it on your feet, put socks over it. wear them all night or all day. depending on how bad they are it might take a few times of doing this.
my friend said to also try bagbalm, it works better than lotion. (said you can find it in the pet supply department at walmart.) wierd i know. but stranger things have happened. good luck..
Good Morning G.:I'm currently experiencing hand&foot syndrome which results in the above condition.I recommend the following products:UDDERLY SMOOTH,BAG BALM,NOAHS NATURALS Lip Balm (www.noahsnaturals.com),or any storebrand 100% petroleum jelly.I discovered NOAHS Lip Balm really works on feet!At bedtime, heavily moisturize feet, cover with white socks.Extreme:moisturize, cover feet w/ plastic food wrap, then put on white socks.White socks don't leave residual color on the skin and the fabric washes well in hot water& bleach. Don't try to walk w/ the plastic wrap on. It's real slippery!Be blessed.
C. N. :-)
OH yeah, mee too and they are itchy like crazy
what REALLY works for me, better than anything else is a PEDICURE, it really seems to do the trick,
BUT since we can't always do that, they sell the razor like foot shaver in Walmart for 3 dollars,
before i get out of the shower I sit on the edge and then shave my heals and feet myself, then use a pumice stone to rubb off the dry skin, dry them off lotion them up with some shea butter or peppermint cream ( also sold at walmart for no more than 3 bucks) and lotion them up heavily
and stick them into some LOTION SOCKS SOlD at walmart, OR in the beauty shops( basically they are socks with lotion in them but any nylon ish type sock will do they will be feeling like new ,
Good luck
M
I've been using "Bagbalm" for some time now, and it really helps. It's in the green tin and has a picture of a cows' udder on it (yes, it is used mainly for that). It's safe for people too. I slather it on and then put on two pair of socks, so as not to leave greasy footprints around the house. It's a gooey mess, but it has helped my diabetic feet from suffering major cracks and dryness. Hope this helped.
I have found that lathering my feet in lotion and then putting on socks helps to alleviate dry and cracked skin. I use whatever lotion on hand.
Hi G.,
I use this "Almond Balm" by Burts Bee's. IT's AWESOME. It's like a thick paste.
L.
Bag balm. Farmer's use it on cow udders. Comes in a green tin. It tends to stain a little so wear older socks.
try using baby oil on your feet beforeyou get out of the shower!!! youhave to do it every day, but I definitely see a difference!!!
I use Eucerine cream in the tub. Not the pump. You can get in at any duane reade. Then I put on cotton socks overnight. It is very thick cream and works well. My feet are so dry sometimes they crack and this helps immediately. Good luck
We take cod liver oil. We get it from Vitaminne Shoppe as it has been tsted for mercury. Also adding Olive oil to your diet and Flax oil. My hsband used to have terrible cracked feet and fingers till we started this. Sometimes the nutritional aspect of skin health is overlooked.
Hi G.,
Have you ever heard of Arbonne? It's a wonderful product and will resolve your problem. It is botanically based, hypo-allergenic. I've been using it for over a year now. You'll be amazed at the results. You can't purchase it in the store. If you're interested, contact me at ____@____.com C.

What seems to work for me is jojoba oil.I put it on at night. If you can stand putting socks on when you sleep it works even better.I started putting it on two times a day.
Maybe this might work.
I use Renw Intensive Skin Therapy too. I love it!! In fact, my podiatrist yelled at me saying, "you're a girl - don't you know about moisturizers?!" Well, I didn't, until someone recommmended it to me. This past Thursday when I went back (a few months later), I saw the MD's brother (also a podiatrist) for a follow-up and he commented on how soft my feet were. So, it works for me. Good luck!!
R.
i just bought burt's bees coconut foot cream...it's wonderful! i've tried several lotions & creams for feet and this seems to work the best. not only are my feet dry but they peel & are hard..not very attractive in bed!! so it say's to use it before "retiring"..likely they mean before bed...but i scrub me feet in the shower with one of those cheese grater things that you can but at any store & then after i get out of the shower i apply the cream, put on my socks & go. by the end of the day my feet are so soft!! just in time for bed & my husband isn't grossed out when my feet touch him under the covers! good-luck!
gold bond lotion at night, slather it on and then put on a clean pair of white cotton socks just prior to going to bed
I use the greatest foot cream from Arbonne www.Forthecause.net. The foot cream seems to work wonders.
Hi G.,
My name is C. and I to have extremely dry feet and use Aquaphor (from Eucerin). It comes in a tub, I put this on my feet at night with socks and after a couple of times my feet become much softer.
Click on this link to see a picture of the tub.

Hi G.,
I feel your pain! My mom passed on to me feet so dry that .... well, never mind, it's too gross to mention. Anyway, I know how annoying, and even painful it can be. I don't know what you have tried, but I soak my feet once/wk in a lavendar salt solution while I watch tv. I also use a file (like an emery board for your feet) when my feet are dry, not wet. It smooths them quite nicely. And then I use Renew lotion (you can get it online from a company named Melaleuca) which I have found to be excellent for severely dry skin. Hope this helps. MA
The best thing I have used is called Bag Balm. It comes in a square green tin that you find at Walmart in the pet section since it is typically for cow's utters. After using it for a few days you will see a difference plus I always use the foot file in the shower each morning to work on some callouses. It does have a yellow look to it so make sure if you use a lot to really moisturize to have socks on that can get stained. Some of my white socks have shown some staining although it is only when I use a lot of product. I have used vasline before and bag balm has the same texture however works much better.
Almost everynight, I put aquaphor on my feet and wear socks. My feet are getting better day by day.
My husband has really dry feet. I put the baby's A + D ointment on them and it works. Good luck.
G.,
Unfortunately I have no advice, but have the same issue. THey are so dry they crack and bleed at times. I have tried different lotions, sleeping in moisture socks, etc.
Good luck you are not alone.

Hi G.

The products are made from the purest of ingredients and are sold at very good prices. Depending on where you live I can get them to your door real quick. The foot care products consist of both an exfoliator which will help remove the dry skin and an extreme moisturizer which will keep the moisture locked in. They smell great too. :) Check out my website at www.sensaria.com/jsammut. Keep in mind my products come with a 100% money back guarantee so if you are not satisfied you can return it for a FULL refund.
I hope you take the time to care for your feet today! When we have "happy feet" we have a happy mommy, wife, friend, etc.
Have a great day.

Look up Renew Intensive Skin Therapy lotion. Read the excerpt about it and play the video. It's great for dry skin altogether. It's all natural, non-greasy & I use it for me & my family.
Good luck.
I had this problem not too long ago. After trying different things, I purchased a pumice stone at the drug store and began using it in the shower. I also put some olive oil on my feet before bed with an old pair of socks! These made a huge difference for me. The final thing I did was increase my vitamins (liquid vitamin). Good luck to you! I know that this can be a huge problem!
love,
L.
Have you ever tried any products from Arbonne. What makes them stand out in the marketplace is that they contain no mineral oil only essential oils. They also use nanosphere technology wich allows the oils to get down to the cellular level and correct the skin. There are amazing before and after results. Check out nicolemelucci.myarbonne.com to learn more about Arbonne's products.
Hi G.:
I've had that problem for a long time because I take alot of meds but I recently tried scraping my feet with a minty soap (to soothe your feet or regular soap) and a stone and rub them every night while in the shower or bathing then use the Gold Bond feet cream (works wonders for me) and put on some socks. Put the gold bond cream in the mornings too!
Good Luck, it worked for me.
M.
Hi G.,
Here's a good one - Bath and Body Works makes a cream called "Lay It On Thick". It does wonders for dry feet, hands, you name it. I swear by the stuff all Winter long.
Good luck!
Hi G.
This has been an off/on problem. When it gets really bad I slather any very rich cream on my feet and sleep with socks. Do this as often as possible until you see an improvement. Body Butter or foot cream by Bliss is great...I believe Sephora sells it. Also, apply foot cream after every shower.
Hope the condition improves!!
JC
Hi G.,
My legs and feet used to be what I called "alligator skin." I am using a lotion that prevents and relieves chronic and severe dry skin. It is called Renew. I would be glad to send you a sample. Check out my web page: www.LiveTotalWellness.com/L.
Until then be sure to not use HOT water when washing your feet....hot water takes the natural oils out of your skin.
L.
I have found that the footworks line from Avon is fantastic. They have an 8 hr overnight moisture cream to use at night with socks. You can check out the entire line at www.youravon.com/mgold. Good Luck, I hope one of the suggestions work.
G.,
There is nothing worse than dry feet!! It can be so uncomfortable. I am an independent consultant for a health and wellness company called Arbonne International. We have a fantastic line of products to help your problem. If you would like to find out how to get them feel free to contact me.

Good Morining G.,
Give yourself a good pedicure. Soak your feet in a nice peppermint foot wash. Peppermint is good for your feet. Then use petroleum Jelly all over your feet, and then put on a pair of sweat socks. Repeat at nitghtime. Within a week you'll have nice soft feet.
S.
Me too! I use goldbond lotion, and I would recommend having them dip in wax, they do this at the nail salons or spas, but you can purchase your own (much better) and use it once a week, you dip your feet and hands, and they will become so soft you won't believe it.
Hi G.,
I would also reccommend Arbonne's intelligence line - herbal foot cream. I also use the FYI (for young individuals) body butter which smells great! I slather it on at night and keep a pair of socks on, it has really helped my heels.
The main thing that seperates Arbonne from all the other (over-the-counter etc..) products out there is that it does Not contain mineral oil (petroleum) which does nothing beneficial for your skin. It will not penetrate and actually creates a barrier not allowing your skin to "breathe." There was evena study conducted by Johns Hopkins University that points mineral oil as the 2nd leading cause of anti-aging (wrinkles) second to the sun!
You can feel content with Arbonne knowing you are usually totally pure, safe, and beneficial products for your body.
You can check out my website: www.TheSkinYourIn.myarbonne.com for more information & to sign on as a wholesale buyer to recceive a 35% discount on all products with any product for free with your first order. You can email me at: ____@____.com for more info!
Please let us know what you tried & how it worked!

looks like there are a lot of Arbonne reps at MS....
I too have the dry cracked heels.... I use Arbonne products.
Check my site out and leave a message if you want further info.

C.
You can try vaseline! Every night put some vaseline on your feet clean, then wear a pair of cotton socks and you will see the difference even the first next morning!!
Hope this helps
Kind regards
E. =)
G.,
I also have the same condition, I use something similar to the ped egg to remove the build up of dry skin, followed by organic shea butter cream and/or a product called Allpresan, that I purchased at the Medi Spa Expo. It is made by Neubourg Skin Care, out of Toronto, ON, Canada.
I have been recommending Renew cream from Melaleuca to anyone with skin ailments from simple dry skin to eczema. You may have a fungal infection on your feet. This can cause scaly dry skin. Melaleuca also has an anti fungal cream that contains tea tree oil: natures anti fungal! If you want to learn more you can contact me at ____@____.com
A.
I have the same problem with dry feet. I swear by the foot scrubs, lotions, and soaks from Bath and Body Works.... great stuff.
Vitamin E lotion. It really seems to make a difference! It is inexpensive, and not greasy. My husband has the dryest knees and feet and he swears by the vitamin E lotion. Good luck!
Hi G.,
My name is T. Cichlar. I use what is called the "Sole Repair Essentials" which is made by Sensaria Natural Bodycare. I am an independent representative with Sensaria, and would be happy to give you more information. There is also a mask made specifically for the feet. All of the products are naturally based, so you can feel good about using them!
Please let me know if you would like more information. You can go to my website which is www.sensaria.com/tcichlar. You can also respond to this e-mail which is ____@____.com to hear from you soon.
T.
I don't have this problem however I sometimes do focus groups in my area and a woman in the group said that Gold Bond makes a wonderful lotion for feet that she would swear by!
I understand what you are going through! My feet were so dry that they were yellow and cracked all around the heels. No one ever saw my bare feet. They were so embarrassing that I would wear water shoes, even in the pool. I have found that using a ceramic foot file once a week in the shower to get the dead skin off, using Renew Cream on my feet every night, and sleeping with socks on, has eliminated my embarassing feet. I felt like I would never be one of those women that had nice feet, or got a pedicure. I am proud to say that I wore strappy sandals to my daughter's communion last year! My whole family was shocked! I no longer need to use the ceramic file weekly, just every once in a while for touch ups if needed. That best thing is that I now share my experiences with others and help them get rid of their embarassing issues and it is so rewarding to help so many others the way I have been helped. If you need more information on Renew Cream, please contact me at ____@____.com Luck!
