Both my son and I have eczema and what I use with him is a product called Special Attention Cream www.warmpsirt.org/tkelley Reactions will vary from person to person but what it does for him is to lessen the scarring from scratching so ooooo much. If I apply it all over after a bath everyday it does help with the itching. I also use the essential soap as a cleanser when he bahtes. Try it!

I'm sorry to hear your daughter has eczema. I know it can be so uncomfortable and itchy. I have some wonderful and helpful products for her. The ABC line is gentle and will easy the dryness.Use the wash, lotion and oil. Also the herbal foot cream will stop any part of the body from being itchy. As soon as you see a break out and before she starts scratching at it, use the foot cream and will will stop it before she breaks the skin.

Hi K.. I am not sure when you wrote this message, but it doesn't matter. I recently heard of a product that worked like a miracle for this particular baby and I believe the name is Arbon. It is a french product that is being sold among others thru multilevel marketing. See if they have a website. This perso I heard this from had tried everything, icnluding multiple md opinions. did she have exzema as a baby?
I ask because sometimes it's diet related-
either allergies or intolerances. there are no
tests for food intolernaces and allergy testing for
babies under 3 isn't all that reliable.
just a thought.

It is very possible that the everyday cleaning and body products that you are currently using are the cause(they work well but because of all the chemicals in them can cause a lot of skin and breathing problems as well as allergies) I have been using a specific line of products for the last 6 1/2 years that have done wonders for my family as well as other families. You may want to try this approach before going to the doctor.

I also have a daughter with eczema. After various doctor visits and trying everything under the sun one doctor suggested using Crisco shortening. I know it sounds crazy but it worked. Apparently, all moisturizers have the same ingredients as Crisco except they usually add color and fragrance both of which are irritants to sensitive skin. A small container is about $2 - $3 and lasts a long time. Just place it in the fridge and once you shower her (baths are also irritating) you slather it on as you would regular moisturizer.

I have been treating my daughter for eczema since she was 3 months old. I see Dr. A. Margarita Duarte at Miami Childrens Hospital or their Coral Gables office. I have been to other derms just to see the difference but I think she is the best.

My son has eczema and I changed everything i use with him. I now wash his clothes in all free and clear and i use the oatmeal aveeno body wash that has helpped tons. The lotion i put on him is cerave.

Since I started using these products his eczema went away. My hubby washed his clothes in some other laundry soap last week and it came back. So I am treating it all over again.

I have 2 friends with eczema. I gave them a product recommendation and they used it. Both said that it has worked better than anything the doctor has ever given.
