Walgreens has holiday mugs that are marked 2/$1.00. What about combining some of the ideas posted already? You could use the mugs from Walgreens, put packets of tea/coffee in each, a chocolate covered spoon and/or honey stick, a biscotti or a home baked sweet treat in each, and then put a personal note like "have a break on me" (as suggested by another poster). It combines your budget and your creativity and still satisfies the "little something" for each person.

Do some personalize stockings. You can get a bunch for a $1 a piece at walmart or the dollar store, and just stuff them with some fun things. You can use fabric paint to write their names on them too. I have also done some sample cookie tins- they have some great size tins at the dollar store and then I make 5 or 6 kinds of cookies and fill up the tins- those went over well also. Just have fun!

How about purchasing them a nice lunch?

LOVE the lunch idea. Take them out or have something catered for around $150. Very nice idea.

Baked good are great, but honestly that's not overly creative and I'm not sure what they would do with the baskets after.

Would it be possible to have the "team" go out for lunch? I understand that you don't want to buy for the whole group, but you could make arrangements with a local restaurant and have a "set menu" with limited options that are within your budget.

You could also consider buying a set of coffee mugs, some of the "Via" from Starbucks (instant coffee packets) and a box of gourmet teas. Fill each cup with a combination of the two (or personalize for each person's preference) and then leave them on their desks with a note about "taking a break on me! Thank you for all of your hard work and happy holidays". Check out Pier One or TjMaxx/Marshalls for inexpensive but durable mugs!

In none of the team members have medical issues or dietary restrictions, baked goods or other edible goodies are a good idea.

My male boss gets everyone on our team a gift each year, however, we're all woman so it's a little easier. We've gotten picture frames, a set of dipping sauces, and my favorite a package with a nail file, nail polish and hand cream.

Another suggestion - an ornament.

What about baking them something simple like pumpkin bread and decorating with a Christmas ornament?
