Is there a microwave sterilizer that will fit the large Evenflo glass bottles?? Love how convenient the sterilizers seem, but worried about being able to fit the Evenflo bottles in them. Any suggestions???

What can I do next?

Medela makes a microwave bag steamer that you can put breast pump and bottle parts. I'm sure it would be large enough to fit the Evenflo bottles. It's a great product and great for travel too!

Why dont you just wash them by hand. After you boil them before using there really is no use in sterilizing everytime. Just my opinion.

I also used the Medela bad. You could also put the bottles in the dishwasher. The water gets hot enough to sterilize. You can buy a basket to put the tops and nipples in. So much faster than washing by hand.

I have two kids, the youngest 9 mo and takes a bottle. I’ve never sterilized the bottles (except for the first use). Cleaning the bottles/nipples in warm soapy water is fine. This is from webmd.com:
>>In the old days when water supplies were not reliably clean, it made sense to sterilize baby bottles. But now, sterilizing bottles, nipples, and water is mostly unnecessary.
Unless your water supply is suspected to harbor contaminated bacteria, it is as safe for your baby as it is for you. There is no reason to sterilize what is already safe.<<

I agree with julie s....you REALLY don't need a sterilizer. I used the evenflow bottles, cleaned them by hand with HOT water, and no problems

Have you looked at the AVENT bottle steamer? I don't know what size of non AVENT bottles fit in it.

God bless!
