how about rewashing it and letting it air dry instead of having it shrink in the dryer?

My mom wahed the "cloth" seat insert on my babies EXCERSAUCER "SUPERSAUCER" from 1997 (yellow, red, blue) & now I cant put the seat back in??? Does anyone remember this "out dated" saucer from EvenFlo or is Engineer-savvy who would know how to hook this seat back into place?
please Im tired off trying and my baby is tired of sitting on the floor :)
Thanks any ideas would be great.....

if you turn it over, you may be able to see the "hooks" that the material attaches to...
if not - then you should be able to contact Evenflo and ask them - their website USUALLY (not always) has archived "manuals" for their products!
GOOD LUCK!!
good luck!!! we have one that is pretty old and is like a teal and yellow with some little gadgets on it. my hubby took it out to wash it and didnt pay any attention to how it came off. he tried off and on for a couple of days before he finally got it back on, and i still think it wasnt right. does it have the little bendy hoops that hook in somewhere on the inside?? I wish i could tell you how, but just wanted you to know been there.
try getting it wet in cold water, and then trying to stretch it, wet, back over it's fittings and then let it dry while it's on the exercauser? Sometimes things shrink during the drying process.
Oh, side note: I think just about every Mama out there, whether or not they replied, probably shuddered while reading your post!!!
LIFE WITHOUT THE EXERSAUCER???? Holy cow! That would seriously bring me to prayer!!! :-)

Hi there,
I think I have the same saucer or something really close. Mine was a hand me down and has worked for all my little ones. My cloth seat is blue and has elastic loops all the way around (I have washed and dried it many times and it has never shrunk). The part that spins on mine is red. Sounds like it rolls on beads. Underneath are little hooks that allow for attachment of the elastic. Also notice the gap between the top and bottom. Now to get the seat on takes a little bit of work. Either turn the saucer on its side (easier) or crouch down to its level. Take the back or larger part of the cloth seat and fold it over the larger part that spins. Take the elastic and push it through the gap. Grab the elastic from underneath and place it on the hook. Do this for all and the seat should be in place. If the seat sinks to low when the baby is placed in, it usually means that the elastic is shot. I've had to replace (by sewing) some of the elastic on mine.
I hope all this helps. Good luck.

Ours has circle eyelets that hook on to little tiny nubs underneath. If you flip it you may be able to see them. Once you figure it out you'll be an old pro at it!!!!
