B..
Oh, did I. I had the most fluid my doctor had ever seen. I started having problems about half way through the pregnancy. I had real contractions by 24 weeks, so I was on really strict bed rest. Even with those problems, I was able to carry until 3 days before my due date. The not overdoing it and drinking a lot of water was really key. Hydration is really important, and drinking a lot of water has nothing to do with the excess fluid. I had to drink like a gallon a day, or I would have bad contractions. My son was and is fine. He was having a ball in there, because he was pretty much swimming! I did need a c-section, because he simply didn't have to be in any position. He was all over the place until they cut my stomach. (I don't want to scare you, I had other complications that required a c-section also! The fluid was just one reason.) Try not to worry, until you have something to worry about. If I could carry my son until the end with all my fluid, anyone can!!! There was never any explanation as to why I had so much fluid.
ETA: Do you have gestational diabetes? I didn't, but my doctor said that sometimes excess fluid and the diabetes go hand in hand.
