Hiya Mari here!!! I am an Licensed Clinical Aesthetician & I saw your post!!! I am new to this board so here it goes!!!! Great advice btw ladies!!!!
However I wanted to add just a little more.....
Laser - the best option if you are dark & course haired will not work effectively for light hair color. Shaving between sessions will be required to encourage the course hair growth for effective permenant laser hair reduction.
Waxing - works fabulously on everyone even people with sensitive skin however there are contraindications that can cause adverse reactions during waxing. retin-a, differin, tazorac, azalex, chemicals peels, internal medications can all cause the skin to burn & lift.
Tweezing - effective can be done at home without any adverse effect time consuming
Vaniqa can be used post wax or tweeze with great result to slow hair growth but not as a stand alone treatment
Shaving NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Unless receiving laser hair removal treatments!!!!!!!!!!
Hope this helps!!! if you or anyone else has any questions just feel free to ask!!!! Have a very blessed day!!!!!
Mari
