I have used votive candles in blue and pink with a tag on them that says:
Here's a candle for you to light
once the stork has made its flight.
With a flicker of the flame,
please say a prayer in baby's name.
When is the shower? There are candies out there for Easter in the shape of ducks out there. I got some after easter one yr at Macys for a shower I helped throw. You could also do Jelly Beans in pink or blue if you know the sex of the baby. Also check out Martha's line at Michaels. They have candy sacs with a celophone window in the shape of the duck - all you have to do is fill up w/ candy. If you are a baker you can bake cookies . I have a mini cookie cutter in the shape of a babies hand. You can find this at Sur La Table or the Kitchen Outlet Mall in Aurora.
I'm having a Christening for my little boy soon and I ordered some favors from this website (lmk-gifts.com) that a friend of mine told me about. They have wonderful ideas. I ordered personlized cookies and chocolate spoons for my guest. I can't wait to get it. Check it out, you might find something interesting that you might like-A. ;-)
Hello,
For my baby shower we gave gourmet (you can also do Affy Taffy) taffy apples. We counted wrong and needed to use some Affy Tapple's. We cheated...we re-wrapped them like the others. Pink & blue ribbon.
I also gave gourmet individual tea bags.
I just threw a shower and what we did was made a donation in honor of the new baby to a charity. We gave to the make a wish foundation and wrote on fancy small sheets of paper that a donation was made in honor of baby (last name) and attached it to some little colored candies in a netting. It was a huge hit and there were actually a lot of tears!! It was cool! I think we did $5 per person we invited. Good luck!
I planned 2 baby showers in a matter of 2 months of each other last fall and they turned out great. I got a lot of compliments. They are really hard to explain but I could email you a picture of them if you would like. Basically I took a picture of the 3d ultrasound and taped it to a folded piece of cardstock with a ribbon and a button. Inside of the cardstock, we put a Hersheys pot of gold chocolate in it. I am very willing to email you a picture. My email is ____@____.com luck.
this site is great check out everything before u decide.

Candy bars with personalized wrappers
Bottles with hershey's kisses or pink/blue M&M's (if you go to M&M site you can even get them personalized and do tins or something)
I did mini picture frames for my sister's baby shower so that everyone had a place to put a picture of the new baby in it. In place of the picture at the shower I typed her name and "Baby Shower" and added a clipart of rattle, bottle, and other baby things.
How about pink and blue M&Ms, wrapped in netting. You could also add some nuts.
