Hi Ladies! Ok, I just found out that we're being put on fertility drugs starting friday. The drug we're being put on is the new and improved Clomid-type drug (eletsol or something like that). I'm a bit nervous about it (chance of multiples, side effects, etc.) and would LOVE to hear about any stories/experiences that you all have. Thanks in advance!!

Just to tell you a quick story I was on fertility when my son was conceived and I didn't have two. It really depends on the individual. I wish you luck and I think what ever happens will be a blessing. A.
Hey girl! With Clomid and drugs like it, your chance of multiples are not all that much higher than regular pregnancy -your doctor can give you the official stats. I tried Clomid and I was a beast! My poor husband would have very much appreciated being warned, and me too, to know what was going on was normal. Basically what Clomid and drugs like it do is trick your brain into making more hormones. This tends to lead to severe mood swings for some and I also had a few dizzy spells. Just be aware. It doesn't last that long and worth it if it works.

There ia always the chance of multiples when on fertility meds, but I was on clomid and had only one child, so it's more of a chance game than anything. Good luck!
