It has been 5 and 6 years since I had my children. I am 13 weeks pregnant now and the fetal heart rate was 164.
Has anyone done gender prediction with what the fetal heartrate was.
I've ben told 140ish is boys and 160's is girls. Any suggestions on predictions.

What can I do next?

I agree with some of the other mothers, I don't agree with that either... I heard the same as you, but mine was accurate, something that I heard that was is the Chinese Gender baby calendar... 2 of my 3 kids it was right about... a lot of my family and friends also said it was accurate.
Congrats on your precious little one!

Congratulations on your new baby. I don't think heart rate is too accurate for predicting sex. With my first pregnancy, there was a very rapid heart rate and many people said I was going to have a girl. My son was born!

E.,

My hubby is a nurse and says that isn't a very good predictor of the sex of the baby. Our son was consistently in the 160's...and to be honest, 150-165 is pretty norm for all fetuses. There might be a difference on some babies, but not enough to truly determine the sex. But you only have a few weeks before you'll know! Congrats!!!

I'm currently 33wks pregnant with another girl and their bpm were always in the high 150s. That prediction was correct for me, both times!

There is something called Intelligender that you can buy off the net and everyone I know who has used it got accurate results!! So if you MUST know now....

Best of luck & Congrats on the new little one!!

E.-
congrats on the baby. I really don't believe in the heart rate telling you what you are having. With my first son his heart rate ran in the 150-160's and I am currently 28 weeks pregnant with baby boy # 2 and when I went to my doctor on 3-31-09 his heart rate was in the 160's. I would go more by the ultrasound then the heart rate. Good Luck & Best Wishes.

Predictions are not accurate. I was anywhere from 138-150 with my son and 138 - 156 with my daughter that I'm pregnant with now. Don't drive yourself crazy. Just wait until the sono. Congratulations!!! :o)

If I'd used that model, I would have been wrong! :) Mine was on the higher end, and I had a beautiful little boy. Congrats and good luck!

Typically Girls are higher than boys as well as development, maturity. Girls lungs develop faster and we can give birth to a girl sooner than a boy if it's before 38 wks gestational and not worry about complications.

Hope this helps.
