I just moved to Fort Eustis and we will be here for 3 years. I need to find a church, at our last duty station i went to church once amont because we were only there 6 monthes. I know that is no excuse bu that is what I did. How do I go about doing this w/o having to visit so many church. I am looking for a churh like the united nations, I have nothing against others but since my family is a big reflection of being mixed I want my 2 boys to see that we do not have to be seggregated to worship GOD.

Hi R.,
I'm the new pastor of Wellspring United Methodist Church, and I think we are a "little like the United Nations" and getting to be more so all the time! We would welcome you and your family to worship with us, and attend Sunday school, youth, women's groups, etc., any time.
The best way for you to learn about our church, and to get directions to here, is to check out our webpage: www.wellspringmethodist.org.
I just joined Mamasource, so I didn't have any way of seeing your letter earlier. I realize you may have already found a church home, and that is great. Just in case you haven't...please give us a try!
Blessings,
Pastor J.
Hi R.,
I am new to MamaSource and just saw your post (since April) but thought it might be worth responding anyway. I attend By Grace Community Church, which is a multi-ethnic church plant (new church). We are located practically at the corner of Warwick Blvd and Harpersville Rd and have some military folks involved (including military families). I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old, and love it. The Core Development Team (they are a core group of leaders) have a bi-racial man and a korean-american man as huge parts (there are six altogether). As a church, we have a heart to reach our community, nation, and world, and certainly share your sense of a mixed racial group looking more accurate as we worship God. Our website is http://www.bygraceonline.org. Feel free to check it out and if you want to ask me any questions or get together to visit sometime (or just talk) you can email me at ____@____.com (it's the best way to get me right now). We also have a Women's Bible Study on Wednesday mornings (with free childcare) so that might be another good way to meet folks and grow personally. We won't meet this week (the day before Thanksgiving) but I'd be happy to talk about that too!
Hoping to talk to you if you're still looking,
L. Hass
Hi, I am not sure if you have found a church yet, but I have a wonderful church. It is located in Norfolk, I know that seems far, but it is well worth the drive.
We are also located in Ft Eustis and attend every service. It is a wonderful place to worship and a wonderful multi cultural congregation.
My family is mixed and we love it. We are a young church and have lots of activities for the kids.
If you are interested and want to come to a service and check it out, you can.
My number is ###-###-####, my name is M..
You can ride with us, or follow.
God Bless.
