Hi everyone,
Jayden's 2nd birthday party is coming up. I am having it from 2-4, so I don't have to have a lunch or dinner, but want to have some snacks. DOes anyone have any ideas for finger foods? I was looking for some interesting kid-like ones online, but can't really find anything, so i thought I'd ask you guys! Any ideas?!?

What can I do next?

If you have a membership to BJ's they have tons of frozen h'ordurves (sp) that you can buy and just pop in the oven and be done with in 15 minutes. I did this at my son's 2nd birthday and the adults and kids loved the unique stuff.

cookie-cutter PB&J
chicken nuggets
tortia chips with a dip (kids love to dip)
mini muffins
cheese puffs

There's somethings that I have done for kid parties.
Good luck and Happy Birthday to the little guy!

I usually try to look on Rachel Ray's Web site... www.rachelraymag.com to find new ideas for kids food... she is very creative and comes up with great ways to do vegetables, etc.

You can also go with the old standbys of Goldfish, fresh fruit, pretzel knots and cheese cubes! Or cut PB&J sandwichs with cookie cutters to make interesting shapes and little pieces they can pick up more easily!

Have fun!

I would do cheeze-it's, goldfish pretzels, teddy grahams, cheese cut into pieces, yogurt, etc. Anything your little eats they will eat.

Good luck!

one of my favorite things to make for the little ones i scupcakes, but there is a twist. You can bake your cupcakes in ice cream cones! Its fun and not near as messy!
