Hello, I have those desk drawers that are lined w/partical board (the kind you slide in to form the base of each drawer). For a long time they have been falling in and I take everything out and reinsert the drawer 'base'. Well its so old now that I can barely reinsert before it falls in again. Do any of you know a trick to fix these drawers? Thanks, C

What can I do next?

I've taken "quarter round" molding and fine nails and hammered the quarter round into the sides of the drawers... that keeps the particle board from falling out.

This may not work, depending on the construction of the drawer, but it is worth looking at.

Take that piece of particle board, to a home improvement store.
You can buy like Balsa wood or a thin ply board, that exact same size... and use that to replace, the broken or warped particle board you have.
Have the store measure it and cut it for you. To that exact size.

If there is any edges you can glue, try gorilla glue. The stuff is great with wood (and psuedo wood like particle board). If not Malia's suggestion is a great one!

We use a product called Liquid Nail on our drawer bottoms and it works well.
