P.K.
Very normal. Once they eat solids, they decrease their formular intake.
My daughter is 9 months old and was taking around 24 to 30 ounces of formula in a 24 hour period. She is now only wanting to take 16-24 ounces (24 on a good day). She eats around 3-4oz jars of baby food a day and cereal once a day. Has anyone ever experienced this around this age and did anything help increase his/her ounces? hopefully this is enough info, this is my first question! haha.

Mine is 11 months and he did the same thing. But since I believe his main source of nutrition comes from formula I decided to decrease baby food and go back to his normal formula intake. It worked :)
Yes, it is totally normal for a child to drink less formula when they start eating solids. They feel full for longer periods also. Can u imagine how fast she would become overweight if she had solid plus the same amount of formula? Don't forget to give her water too.
My 9 mo old is eating about 20-24 oz a day. She eats several jars of baby food a day, fruit, cheerios, and whatever we are eating off the table. She also gets some juice in a sippy cup. As long as her poo is lookin' good, then just go by that. If they aren't getting enough fluid, then that will be the first indicator. :)
Seems normal to me, my little guy is 9 months also and thats about what he eats in a day. He is my 4th child.
That's a normal amount for a 9 month old. My daughter was big for her age at 9 months and was in the 70s percentile for weight and height and the doctor said that with food, she only needed about 18 ounces of formula a day.
