Has anyone tried feeding their child different formulas? I'm having to supplement formula for a meal or two and when my son spits it up it really stinks. I was wondering if all formulas smell the same...
Thanks for all the input. It's nice to see that I'm not the only one that noticed. We have started Good Start and even though it smells a little metallic it is by far better than Nutramigen which we were on before.
I used both Kroger and Walmart store brands, and they were better than the Similac or Enfamil.

i've been slowly introducing my daughter to Baby's Only organic formula, and it really isn't too bad. She still is hesitant to gulp it down from a bottle (i'm trying to wean her from breast to formula/bottle) but this is the only formula i've tried so far that doesn't smell horrible and that she doesn't gag on. You can only buy it online or from specific retailers, so i'd check out their website. The price is pretty reasonable and it's a great product---best of luck!

Soy formula smells the worst IMO. The regular stuff smells bad to me too. I hated when my two oldest would like burp in my face or spit up on me. My baby is breastfed so it doesn't smell bad at all.
I hated the Enfamil smell, but Similac smelled better.

They don't all smell the same. When my son fist started on formulas we used Enfamil. My husband thought it smelled like jet fuel. We switched to Target brand. I can't say that it smelled much better but at least he didn't compare it to jet fuel.
I don't think the regular formulas are as bad as the stuff for babies w/ digestive issues like Nutrimigen- that stuff is horrendous! We used lactose- free Enfamil and Similac and didn't really notice much of a difference between the 2 brands.
