FW Zoo, Van Grow Art Studios, Critter Country (that is not in FW, but near glen rose - so fun), we also went to a fun place in Azle off Peden road. It was a horse ranch, but they had a bon fire, fishing and even an old time fire truck and a fun scavenger hunt on the property.

DynoRock in Arlington, just two blocks south of Division. Has great parties for kids, even little ones. They train everybody, the adults in how to belay the kids, the kids in how to wear the repelling gear and climbing safely. The kids have tons of fun, overcome fear, gain confidence, etc. You need one adult for each child. There is a picnic table area away from the walls where you can have the celebration aspect. Our kids have loved it. Our three year old clambored up and down that wall within the first 30 minutes after training, like she'd been born to it. They are belayed with ropes from above, so it is very safe, but the adults have to sign a waiver, of course. And adults can climb too. It's very cool, very different, and the kids always want to come back. After they get comfortable with the climbing, it becomes about problem-solving your path to the top. Develops muscles as well as the mind.
