Fun and Funky Boys Shoes?

I LOVE the See Kai Run brand shoes, but my almost 3yr old is now wearing the largest size they have (and I don't care for the look of the next size up brand, Eleven).

Anyone know of any fun, funky shoes like See Kai Run?

What can I do next?

I have been a fan of Livie and Luca. They don't have a huge selection, but they are fun shoes.

Hi Becky, I also love See Kai Run shoes and had the same problem when my 3 year old out grew the "cute" shoes. I discovered Vincent Shoes,www.vincentshoestore.us/,they are different, leather, sturdy and very adorable. I've been buying them for about a year and I love them. Plus the customer service is excellent. I'd recommend this company and the shoes to everyone with children.

www.uniquehomestore.com has lots of childrens shoes. They carry your See Kai Run shoes and dozens of other brands I've never heard of. There are definitely some funky shoes there, not of the SKR brand.

My children wear Gucio shoes a TON and I LOVE them and get stopped and asked about them every time we're out of the house...but their cuteness is worth the hassle!

They're handmade in Poland and all have a yellow sole and laces. Very cute and noticeable! You can check them out here:

They have such unique awesome shoes. I normally buy pumas because they are narrow and my son is small. The pumas are adorable for sporty attire! Also, sometimes you can find cheaper shoes that are unique at www.6pm.com

I'm a shoe freak! I think I buy more shoes for my son then for myself nowadays. Hope I don't have a girl next because we'll for sure go broke! ha

Have fun shoe shopping!

I see others have suggested Vincent shoes. I really like them as well. I think they hold up better than See Kai run shoes. If you're in the Twin Cities, you should definitely check out the Shoe Zoo shoe store in Minneapolis (3146 Hennepin Ave. S.). They carry the most amazing stock of kids' shoes -- lots of funky European brands. They carry a lot of the same shoes as Nordstrom's, but ten times more. The staff there is great, too.

Hi Becky
My son just started walking and we found some really fun shoes at www.wesqueak.net. Your kids may be to old for them but they are fun for new walkers. Every step they take the shoes squeak- you always know where they are!!!!!

Uber Baby in the Galleria has some great options for boys shoes especially - the owner has a 4-year-old son and she has some unusual shoes for them.
I also really like the selection at The Shoe Zoo (near Uptown) even though the store is pretty chaotic. They have some great european brands that are different and cute.

Good luck!
