I just found a really honest, hardworking builder that I love! I hired him for a day to do work, and ended up making a long list of things that needed to be done, and hired him for 2 more days. He is licensed and insured, and his rates are REALLY reasonable. He does finished basements.

I recommend Joseph Whalen and Son General Contractors, Oreland PA. ###-###-#### They have finished many basements in Blue Bell Country Club although not mine, but over the years they have remodeled my bath and kitchen, installed lighting, and new doors, changed locks, expanded my family room, replaced windows and siding etc. I highly recommend them! We have redone our bathroom and kitchen and used tinkermen construction. We have been extremely happy with them. Other contractor friends of ours have commented on how good the work is. A company named Salvati Builders, ###-###-####, that's Ron's number, they are reasonable and do excellent work.
They are out of West Chester (will also travel) and have a great reputation. They just put a new deck on my house and I'm going to have them finish my basement too! The workers were all excellent and very courteous.
