I got pregnant two weeks after having my Mirena removed! Best of luck to you!
I had the 10 year IUD and got it removed. Yes you can get pregnant that quick. My suggestion would be to get some prenatal vitamins and start taking them after you get the IUD removed.
well everyone is different but I had a friend who had hers in for about a year and a half....got it taken out and got pregnant right away. her doc had told her it might take a few months for her periods to return to normal so after 3 months of no period she went to the doc only to find out that she was 3 months pregnant. So it's totally possible to get pregnant right away. Good luck.
I was pregnant the next month but I was told this is not normal...good luck!
It is absolutely possible to conceive right away. Having an IUD does not interrupt your ovulation cycle at all. Just keep in mind that at the peak fertility age with no fertility issues present, it takes an average of 4 months to conceive under the best of circumstances. Just be patient and good luck!
i had a iud for two years after my daughter was born, i had it removed last august and the doctor said it can take up to a year. we found out april 24th were expecting our 4th child christmas day and are excited. i had a friend that got pregnt a month after having hers out and it ended up that she had a miss carrage at 18weeks. good luck
I had my Mirena removed in October, got my period back in November, and conceived in December and now have a super healthy adorable little girl! I think it depends on the person, but my OB told me that as soon as you get your first cycle back after having it removed, you can start trying...I was fortunate to get my cycle back within a month, but I guess it could take longer. Good luck!!
I had my IUD in for two years, in which I didn't have a period for that entire time. The doc said that it could take a while to get my cycle going again - although she said that you still ovulate while having an IUD, the egg is just blocked from entering the fallopian tube and getting fertilized. She said that you could be ovulating around the time you get the IUD out, in which case, you could get pregnant right away. I had mine removed in Sept. of '07 and wanted to get pregnant by Dec., but I didn't conceive until March of '08. It was a little frustrating because it only took two months to conceive my other two children (after being on other forms of birth control), so I had to be patient!! But it did eventually happen!! Good luck!!

I had the Mirena IUD for a year an half and had it taken out and wanted to conceive with in 2 months and it took 6. I have heard of people being able to conceive right away but I think I have heard more story's that are like mine that take a little longer. Good Luck!
The IUD gives off no chemicals so you should be able to get pregnant right away.
i had para guard and a month after it was removed i conceived my 2nd child
