Go to Charting FAQ, and then go down near the bottom to Gender selection.
There is an unbelievable wealth of info on the site. After you chart for 2 months you should be able to determine the best time for conception for you. Everyones cycle is different so when people say to try and conceive on day 11 or 12 or whatever that is based on an average. This will let you determine based on your own cycle the best time to conceive.

From everything I've read the further away from when you ovulate the better the chances you have of producing a girl. Try using a basil therometer to take your temperature every morning and chart your cervical mucus and you should be able to determine when you are about to ovulate.

Hi, I wanted to give you my tips on getting pregnant with a girl! I researched this topic very well when we decided to start our family. First you want to know when you ovulate. My cylcle is 32 days long and after months of charting my cycles i determined that i ovulate on day 16 or 17. heres the the thing, the closer you have intercourse to your day of ovulation, the more likely your are to have a boy, and the further away from your day of ovulation the better your chance of having a girl. So lets say you also have a 32 day cycle and ovulate on day 16 or 17, if you want a girl have intercourse on days 12-14 and NOT after those days! any day closer and you will most likely get a boy. I just gave birth a few weeks ago to my second baby girl. I also had really wanted a girl and my sister-in-law mentioned that using the Chinese calender can help predict the sex of a baby. That's what worked for me. The one I used I found free online (although there are some that cost $). Good luck!!

Hi J., i heard about a Dr who specializes in this, and he has a HUGE success rate. He named teh whole method after himself too... If you want i can look further into it and get more info. It has to do with timing and positions, lol. But i geuss it works!

I've just read a majority of the responses about having intercourse later rather than earlier during ovulation and I in my case it apparently did not work. First of all, I underwent fertility treatments so my ovulation cycles were monitored to the minute. I underwent artificial insemination the day I started ovulating. The first pregnancy was a girl and the second time around - two girls! So I don't know, I'm not too optimistic about any of the responses, I think it's pretty much a toss-up and a twist of fate. Whatever happens, I hope you have a healthy and happy baby - no matter what the sex...
