L.B.
I also have PCOS and am about to have my fourth baby. For years between my #1 and #2, I was told I wouldnt never get pregnant on my own, and either get fertility treatments or be happy with my son. It was the hardest thing to hear, but here are somethings I have learned since #2 was born. I dont ovulate at 14 days, instead I ovulate much later, my #3 due date was 41 weeks and 2 days after my last period, and #4 is 41 1/2 weeks after last period. IF you are overweight, which is common with PCOS, but not necessarily true for all who have it, then losing weight really helps, for me it was just a few points, not a major amount, but it very well could have been the extra exercising and eating more healthy then ever, especially watching the number of carbs I eat. (I do eat carbs, but I try to limit it to 2 carbs at breakfast, 1 for a snack, and 4 for lunch and 4 for supper. 1 carb=15 grams.) I was on glugophage when I got pregnant the second time, actose right before #3 and just got lucky when we got pregnant with #4. Also I stopped trying to get pregnant and just relaxed with everything. I know that all of us PCOS have different symtoms and different ovulations and so on, but these did work for me. Good Luck!
