Gift Ideas for Preschool Teacher Who We've Only Known for 2 Months

My daughter didn't start preschool until April 1st. Her last day of school will be June 3rd until she comes back to the same teacher in August.
She absolutely LOVES her teacher though! It's only been two months so I don't know the teacher too well, but I like her alot. She also has two assistants that I would like to get something for. Should I buy the teacher a gift card and just do something smaller for the assistants or do I do equal gifts? I was thinking about making homemade cookies for all of them and just giving the teacher a gift. Is this ok?
If not a gift card, then what should I get the teacher/s? Thanks in advance for any help!

What can I do next?

I do gift cards to restaurants! Have done this for 15 years.
Teachers don't get paid much. Eating out is a luxury. And such a treat for them, I'm sure. We do gift cards to Olive Garden, Chili's, Macaroni Grill, TGI Fridays.....whatever you have close by that is a step up from fast food.

Just my opinion, but the little ceramic apples and ornaments and candles really pile up. I am a teacher and one Christmas, I rec'd 11 candles. Please don't anyone think I'm ungrateful, b/c I don't expect gifts....but 11 candles....wow!

I bought my son's Pre-K teacher (and her assistant) and little tote with their initial on it from www.abcdistributing.com and they were only $7.75 or so.

Hi,
I have always made cookies or breads for my daughter's teachers and assistants along with buying several books that were for the school or center. The teachers have always appreciated the books, particularly since preschool and daycare budgets are often far too limited. I'm glad to hear that your daughter enjoys her teacher so much!

We got our 2 preschool teachers gift certificates to a local nail salon to get pedicures. They need to be pampered after all their hard work, and they seemed to really like it. Each was under 20 bucks, so didn't break the bank either.

Gift cards are always a good idea. So is a homemade gift from your child.
