I am giving my daughter a sleepover for her 11th birthday party. I need ideas/suggestions for games/activities. Kinect and/or Wii will be played but I want something different and fun for about 5-6 girls. Thanks for your help.

What can I do next?

How about something crafty like tie-dying t-shirts or making necklaces? Or, let them make their own pizza for dinner. Ooh, or how about fondue???

Makeovers were always fun at that age. And spa things if they are girly girls. Nail polish, face masks etc. Good times! Also board games are always fun, you could make cookies, and frozen drinks like non-alcholic darquris in fancy glasses with fruit and straws. Super easy to make and good. Ask your daughter what is "cool" these days haha.

Have fun!

when my daughter had her 10th bday party we did Sardine tag (one person hides, everyone who finds her has to hide in the same spot), flashlight tag, ghost in the graveyard, hair do's and nails, and in the morning I had a Mary Kay consultant come and teach all the girls how to do make up. Every girl still says it was the best party and that was 2 yrs ago.

Girls this age usually love crafts. Have a couple of different ones planned so there is a variety, since some girls will prefer one type of craft over another. Hit the craft store for ideas.

Also hit the bookstore and look for American Girl's book (don't know the title) of ideas for sleepovers. It's in the kids' section. Great ideas on things to do, games to play, crafts. Very creative stuff and you can just look through it without necessarily purchasing it!

My daughter had a birthday party at our house when she turned 10. There were 5 girls and they played Twister and had a great time.
