I am thinking of planning a 'staycation' getaway with my girlfriends. We are in search of a nice hotel in North Dallas, with a spa and nice pool area where we can hang out for a few days. Pet friendly is a +, as one of the girls has a chihuahua she cannot bear to part with. Any suggestions?
I don't know about pet friendly, but love the W for girls weekend (rooftop pool overlooking city and a bliss spa!!) and the Gaylord :)

Not exactly North Dallas, but the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine or The Omini Mandalay in Las Colinas.
We love to get away at the Hilton Southlake Town Square. There is shopping, dining, and a movie theater all right there. You can park and not have to get in the car until it is time to go home. I usually book a standard room and ask for an upgrade when we check in and always get it. I have not used the spa yet, but the pool area is nice. Hope you have a great time!

Westin Stonebriar in Frisco is the only one that comes to mind that has a spa.
NYLO ROCKS! It would be a blast for a girls weekend! There is one on Preston almost in Frisco!!!! Beautiful pool area, comfortable furniture to chill on and great bar and cool rooms! Plus not an expensive place to stay! And close to the mall and great restaurants! I don't think they have a spa but there are lots of spas close by!
