Does anyone know how to clean vomit out a carpet? The stain just won't go away! (I know I'm not the first mom who's child threw up over the side of their bed!) Thanks for your help!

If it's a stain, I use a product by Bissell called Oxy-Gen II, it's prob $10, squirt it on and over about a minute the stain disappears. I've got kids here and my carpet can attest to the greatness of this product.
Have you tried Woolite Carpet Cleaner? It is the BEST!
Spot Shot is a Godsend. We had a sick kitty leaving vomit and diarrhea all over the carpet and Spot Shot got rid of all the stains completely.
Vinegar cleans everything!!!! IT has kind of an odor, so go to your local healthfood store and pick up some nice smelling essential oils and put a few drops into a spray bottle with 4 parts water to 1 part vinegar. Should work like a charm!!!!

OK ~ your gonna think I'm crazy but if you dampen the spot with a little water and take BARASOL Shaving cream ~ YES, your hubby's shaving cream, (white foam only)apply it to the spot and wait about 15- 20 minutes and then go back and scrub it out with a dampen rag ~ you 'll be surprised how it cleans the stain up and it also deoderizes it ~ not bad ~ you should try it!
Actually, I have this stuff called Sol-u-mel that works like a charm! It's actually from the store I work with. It is Natural and safe but it has gotten dog vomit stains, permanent marker, and Orange Crush out of my cream carpet. If you'd like I can give you some to try it.
