I've been seeing Heidi Shea. She has a Dallas location one day a week, but is mostly in Plano. She is young, good and family oriented. Sorry, don't have the number handy, but you should be able to look her up. Good luck!
I know she's not in Plano or Frisco, but Kathlyn Wyne, MD is who I see (Type 1 Diabetic) in Dallas at UT Southwestern. She is very thorough. Check her out at www.utsouthwestern.edu.
I was so impressed with Dr. Mark Leshin when I visited him with possible metabolism issues while ttc my first son. He only takes a few patients a day to minimize stress and wait times. You may have to wait for a new-patient appointment, but ask to be put on the waiting list of cancelled appts. He is thorough, well-versed, and stays up to date on the current research.
