Hello moms: Does anyone know of a good and reasonable dog boarding place? I have one 25lb dog that I need kept for one week. I am near the 1604/ 281 area -- but willing to travel out of that area for a good place. Open to other suggestions.

I have seen a doggy daycare on Prue and Babcock. They seem to take care of the animals well. Don't know the name and can't find it.

I had to board my dog at Kitty Hawk Animal hospital for a month and they were great. He's much bigger than your dog (65 lbs) and I believe they charge by weight. It was $17 a day for an air conditioned run, science diet food, and 3 walks a day. He was very happy when I picked him up. They are on Kitty Hawk road not far off of 1604 between Universal City and Live Oak. You shouldn't have any trouble finding a number in the phone book.
