Good Preschool in Anaheim, CA

I was having the same problem with my daughter. Everyday I picked her up I got horrible reports of her hitting other kids and the teachers, peeling paint off the walls, throwing food. She cried everyday when I dropped her off. It broke my heart every morning. This wasn't the same little girl at home. In September I put her in a preschool at a Catholic church. While I am not Catholic this was the best decision I have ever made. They are loving and caring and at the same time give her the structure that she needs. When I drop her off she gives me a big kiss and runs off to play with her friends. When I pick her up she is happy as a clam and tells me all about her day. She is attending St. Callistus. I have no idea where you are. It is located at the corner of Chapman Ave and Haster St. Good Luck!!!

Lamb of god!!!! I wish i could send my kids there. It is too pricy for me but i did check i out and i loved it!!! It is on the corner of sunkist and south st. You should really check it out. It would be a great blessing.

This is just my opinion from personal experience (been working in preschool for 7 years). The worst behaved children come from the best, most affluent families. Those children tend to be incredibly spoiled, bratty, and have really bad attitudes. I spent my first 4 years working at a day care in seal beach (with many Los Al, and the more exclusive Rossmoor area) and those children who are from the well-to-do families are the worst when it comes to behavior, foul language, and all around negativity. And church kids does not mean good kids. I would look for a school with a more diverse demographic make up. You tend to find children who are more tolerant, diverse, flexible, and positive. I work in long beach now, which you may be aware is very, very diverse with families of all makes and models...and it has been the best experience ever as far as kids are concerned. I still have the occassional spoiled, negative kid, but you are going to find that every where, it's just not as prominent here. Good luck.

Hi L., I have 2 sons ages 15 and 25 and if there's one thing I've learned it's that kids are kids and it doesn't matter where they go to school. What matters is how you teach your children to act and how to respond to the bad things they can and will be exposed to. They all have their own little personalities and it's important to teach your kids to be leaders and not followers. Role play with them different situations so that they will be ready with responses when tough situations arise. AND THEY WILL! Don't expect your children to just know what to do or what to say. It's way easier to just do what everyone else is doing. Good luck! L.
