What age do most of you start your kids in preschool? I though around 3 but some people say 2. Should I do a mommy's day out if they are turning 2 soon or preschool. I need some recommendations for both and I can't spend thousands of dollars but need a few days to myself and they seem to want to get out and play with other kids more then just once a week going on a playdate.
My daughter goes to Children's Choice in Lewisville, right behind Medical City of Lewisville and we LOVE it the teachers there are WONDERFUL. They also have a flexible program where you can sign up for how ever many days you need as well as doing half days. They also host a Stretch and Grow class weekly that is $30/ month. Mother's Day Out usually takes kids of all ages. Many times, the same church/center will have a MDO program for kids up to age 3 or 4, then to an actual pre-K program for 3 and 4 yr olds.
I highly recommend it! It's a great break from the kiddos and they get to have a good time with friends. Most are pretty affordable at $150-$200/month per child (with a discount for siblings, of course)
CCDC in Lewisville is really good. Its at frist Untied Methodist church next to walmart on main street. They take kiddos starting as yound as 18 months.

Before making your decision I would hope you checked into Primrose Preschools. They are the BEST! I HIGHLY recommend two that are located in Plano. The phone number to one of the locations is ###-###-####. The name of the schools if Primrose School of Forest Creek, and Primrose School of North Plano. I think once you take a tour of these schools you will see the differance.

We go to First Baptist Church Carrollton, and they have a preschool program that lets you decide how many days a week your child/ren attend.

Our son is not involved in the preschool, but we can not go down Josey past the church without him getting upset that we are not stopping there! :) He loves it that much!!
