I have heavy, sagging breasts. I will not wear underwire. I was stabbed by one and was freaked out. The wire actually peirced my boob. Walmart sports bras do not fully support. Any other suggestions?

What can I do next?

Title 9 have the best sports bras. I have very large breasts and it's always a chore to find one. These are pretty good and they have one of the basic models with no underwire. If you don't have a store near you you will have to order on line, which is kind of a pain. That's what I do and it kinda stinks b/c I've had to send back and forth a few times. Generally I order a few at once now and just send back the ones that don't work.

Also, Nordstrom has the best bra department anywhere! They will help you with sports bras as well.

Enell makes a sports bra (actually, several of them). I'm a huge fan of their classic sports bra (not the lite version). It's the satin-y shiny one. It was known as the "Oprah" bra for a time. They are not cheap. I get mine on Ebay (new but didn't pass the final inspection). New they run about $60. I get mine on Ebay for about $40.

This bra has changed my life and I wear it as my every day bra. It distributes the weight over and across your shoulders with wide straps. this is not a pretty bra, but I'm a 46 DDD+ and this bra squishes me down to a much smaller size. When I first started wearing it years ago, people though I had lost 25 lbs. There are no wires and it's comfortable too.

Try using a lighter weight bra under an actual sports bra. I found this to work best.. One, the bra underneath actually holds you in place and the sports bra on top just adds reinforcement. What I don't like about a sports bra is that it smashes you and it makes it look like one big breast.. :) So while it does squish you down, it still allows for movement and while you might not have both breast moving at once, you now have one large mass, which to me is even more uncomfortable..
I tried SEVERAL sports bras over the years and then tried my little trick of the regular "comfy" bra underneath and that worked so much better...
even better than those sports bra with a build in bra.. again, they still make the breast look like one big mound on your chest..

try my idea...

good luck

My daughter is varsity cheerleader and she swears by the Nike Sports bra. She gets them at Academy or Dicks

That said, she does not have heavy saggy breasts.

I have natural perky 34DD's and i buy my bras (Wacoal) at Nordstrom. You can get some that are very flattering and not G. bras. I pay about $60 each but they are worth every penny. The bra fitters there are well qualified as well.

Good luck.

Champion has a variety of various levels of activity/impact ratings with and without wires. Look for one with a high MCR. If you have an outlet near you, Leggs-Hanes-Bali has a good selection and can order for free shipping if they don't have your size in stock.
