Hi mamas,
My family is new to the East Bay area and I'm looking for information about playgroups, classes and moms groups. I have found the Day One Center, but the per class rate is a little high for us to be able to go once a week. Anyone have any other good resources? Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

I have a drop in center in Martinez, I charge $8.50 an hr for up to 4 hrs a day. I generally take ages 3-5 but am opening to all ages for the same rate. I just need notice for the younger ones so I can prepare age appropiate activities for them. Give me a call if you are interested ###-###-####,

Music Together:
www.eastbaymusictogether.com
Great interactive music classes. There are specific ones for babies.

Tumble and Tea Cafe:

Now called Sadie Dey's Cafe. A great cafe where there are kid-safe play areas. There is a specific area for pre-crawlers/walkers.

Kindergym:

A great play group like Gymboree but with out the high membership fees. Located in a Temple but the play is non-denominational other than on Fridays. Drop-in classes.

Welcome to the East Bay! I'm not sure how Gymboree compares to Day One but you can come and preview a Gymboree Play and Music class for free and see if our fees are in line with your budget. At 7 months, you would want to try a level 2 Play and Learn class or a Music I music class (you can preview each one for free). To see a full listing of our schedules, you can visit the website at www.gymboreeclasses.com. If you'd like more information about the Lafayette, Oakland or El Cerrito classes, you can email me directly at ____@____.com look forward to meeting you.
