there is a great kid's hair salon at the Willows in Concord. they have deen ther for about 30 years. i think it's called dots n dashes..
My husband has always cut our toddler's hair but I think we are ready to get it done by a professional. Does anyone know of a really good place to have a toddler boys haircut in the Antioch/Pittsburg/Concord area? My son is 30 months old. They have to really know how to make kids happy as my husband and son always struggle cutting his hair. My husband uses the clippers to cut his hair.
Thank you!
So I took my son to Lollipops in Brentwood today. He loved the cars that the kids siÞ in and the hair dresser was really good. He did get a little upset when she used the clippers, but she did it so quickly it was okay. Thanks for the reccomendation!

I've heard good things about Dots and Dashes in Concord, but I've always taken my kids out to Cool Tops Cuts for Kids in Lafayette (I used to live in Walnut Creek, now Concord). Cool Tops has locations in Lafayette, San Ramon and Oakland and are really great with kids - there are T.V.s at every station with a wide variety of kid friendly videos to choose from. http://www.coolcutsforkids.com/
There's a place in Antioch called Lollipops off of Lonetree. They have cars that the children sit in and videos for them to watch. The people that work there do really well with difficult children.
I would have to recommend Lolli Pop as well! I took my son there when he was 7 months for his second haircut and they did an awesome job, even with him being all squirmy. He loved the cars and was totally in awe over everything they had there, rather than the actual haircut. I'm not sure he was old enough to really understood what was going on though! I've been doing his haircuts myself since then though (He's about 14 months) because they were a little pricy for me. Good Luck!
Sorry for the late reply. I take my son to Dots n Dashes in the Willows, but you have to ask for Suzi. The others can be kind of cold, but Suzi does a good job. Haven't been to the other places mentioned so I can't comment.
Ditto to Lollipops...but I think it's on the Brentwood side of Lonetree, so look for it as a Brentwood listing. We've been there several times with two kids - now 4.5 and 18 months...all good results. There's also a GREAT place in Livermore, but that's a bit out of your way, I'd guess. :-) Good luck!
