Hairstylist in FM Area

The hair stylist I have used for 15 years and followed to several locations is Doris Barker and she is at the Nicole Day Spa on 2499. She does an outstanding job and is very reasonably priced. I think you will like her. Good luck,

Terri Wiltsey at Main Street Salons in Lewisville (Main Street near Garden Ridge) ###-###-#### is wonderful.

She's very good with color. She's been doing hair for over 20 years, but stays very current on styles, techniques, etc. She's given me some great advice on my hair. I want to say I pay about $75-$80 for a cut and color wash (trying to hide those nasty greys!) - I don't know how cost differs from regular "color."

I go to Stylo on 2499. Gabby owns the salon and she is a great cut and colorist. Her haircuts are $20. Give her a try you won't be sorry.

I highly recommend Noel (forgot his last name). He's at Main Street Salons over by Steinmart. I watched him work while getting my hair done by his partner. Was impressed with his manner + results were absolutely great. When his partner left I started with him. He's very good! Call him to check prices. My hair is long. A hair cut is $45. ###-###-####.

Apparently a lot of other Mamasource moms love her as well. She fixed a terrible haircut and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Even when I don't have much time to spend on my hair, the cut still looks great! She is young, hip, sweet and has a great personality and has been cutting hair for over a decade!!

I see Bev Anderson over at Cloud Nine and she has been doing hair for along time. I usually pay what you now pay for hair cut and highlights. I am always happy with what she does to my hair. She always helps me decide what I should do with my hair and it always looks good on me afterwards. She will let you know if she thinks what your idea will look good on you or not.

I searched forever and finally found someone I am happy with. Been going to her for a year now. Shes in Lewisville at Main St. Salon. Shes young and hip. Shes been doing hair for several years. She worked at Pennys and Ulta before deciding to go into business for herself. She wont try to talk you into anything but if she doesnt think something will work that you ask for she will tell you. Her name is Sondra and her # is. ###-###-####. Shes also very reasonable with her prices. I get highlights and lowlights on half my head and a cut and she charges $120.00.

I have been to about 10 Salons in the area because I couldn't find one I liked and then found Splurge Salon which is there in the Shops of Highland Village. I love them. They are a little less expensive than what you describe at Tangerine, but they are a no tipping salon so at least you know exactly how much you are going to spend. Stacey Francis at Cloud 9 has done my hair for 13 years. She postive,fun, and listens to what you want, and gives feedback about her thought's! stacey has become part of our family. She is priced right and stays up with the most modern hairstyles!!! I moved to OK and still drove back untill we moved back to Texas. She is wonderful.

A lot of making the choice in a hairdresser is how well you click. I found my hairdresser on my birthday 10 years ago when we were new to the area. I've been seeing her ever since and she's encouraged, but not pushed, me to try different hair styles and all the other stuff.

I'm also a realtor. She's not inexpensive, but she's very good at passing on coupon and letting me know when they're having specials. She even used me once as a model.

I go to Niki at Hair Tech on the corner of Main and Garden Ridge. She is awesome! I'm not sure how long she has been doing hair but I have known her for 10 years. I just had my hair done - all over color (to cover the gray), partial highlights, and cut about 4" off. It costs $90. Also they usually have a coupons in the ad magazines that come in the mail. She let me use the coupon for haircut and the one for color. The number is ###-###-####.

For all of you looking for a great stylist and a awesome new salon, check out Shawn Kristopher Salon, I went to this salon and I can't tell you how incredible it is. They have taken a Dallas uptown, upscale chic salon and put it in Highland Village/Flower Mound area. The amenities are endless, services include: haircut, haircolor, brazilian blowout, perms, massages, facials, body treatments, waxing, med spa services. And if you arrive early not to worry they have an awesome coffee and wine (beer) bar for your enjoyment as well or to enjoy while your services are performed.
