Hi K., my sister took her then 4 yr old son to a CSM and after only a couple visits, he showed marked improvement and another visit or 2 he made another leap in advancement. Though I haven't personally used one, my sister was well pleased. With so many types of alternative medicine, one is bound to be just what you are looking for. Be well, C.

For several months my doctor could not find the cause of my exhaustion and achieness. I stumbled onto eating yogurt with live cultures every day and using Colidal Silver Water. A friend bought a kit for me so I could make my own Silver water, use a mouthful a day or a couple of times a day. I don't sell the kits, just a satisfied customer.

I had the same thing and was missed diagnoised for more than 10 years. I bet you have low thyroid and need to see a specialist for that, that is the exact syptoms. You need to see Encronistist (not spelled correctly) but call your family doctors office and they will spell it for you. I got so tired I was thinking I would have to go on disablity, but thank goodness for a friend that told me what kind of doctor I needed to go to. Armour Thyroid pills are really the only ones that work, I had been on the sythryoid and they do not good.

I would stay away from the Colidal silver water for ANYTHING. It may work for your symptoms, but it could TURN YOU BLUE! Yes, that's right you could end up looking like a blueberry for the rest of your life. There is no cure for turning yourself blue from Colidal Silver.

About 2 months ago, Oprah had one of her Dr. Oz specials, and there was a man on who did the Colidal Silver thing and he really did look like a blueberry. It was AWFUL! Dr. Oz told him that he would never be able to get rid of it because his cells were saturated with the pigment.

yes, I was having seizures and other spinal/brain stem issues. It was a last resort type of thing for me. While it was somewhat helpful, the costs where prohibitive (usually much more expensive than general massage) comparative to the relief I obtained.

K.,

You should really get to the bottom of what is causing the pain. There are several different things that could be causing the fatigue and pain together. Each would have a different treatment, so you should rule some things out first. Here are just a few possible causes:

Anemia
tumor in spine, hip or ribs
food allergies (believe it or not)
cardiomyopathy
osteo or rheumatoid arthritis

Get to your Dr. and get some bloodwork done just to make sure, then go ahead with the CSM! Good luck and God Bless

Hi K..
I've been practicing CST for 7 years and I'm advanced in my classes. I have been receiving CST for 20 years, so I am a strong believer. If you'd like I can give you my personal experiences. Please check out my website www.unruffle.com.
My clients have problems ranging from chronic fatigue to paralysis of the upper extremities. I personally use it in place of massages when I get sore but I originally began seeing a therapist for some pretty major neurological problems.
I won't be working for much longer (I'm 8 1/2 pregnant) but I could get you started or refer you to someone. Austin has some amazing therapists. I also know some great acupuncturists.
Good luck and please feel free to ask me any questions.

Have you tried chiropractic? Craniosacral Therapy (which isn't massage, actually) is great, and lots of chiropractic physicians use it as part of their treatment protocol. Sounds like you could use a thorough chiropractic evaluation to get to the bottom of your pain and chronic fatigue. Check out www.docvaughn.com and click on "Chiropractic Info", where there are many resources regarding health information and chiropractic information, including a search engine for specific questions.

Hi, K.! I have never had the cranial sacral massage done, but I have another way to help resolve your chronic fatigue and leg pain issues. I am an independent business owner with Sunrider, a company that manufactures concentrated, top-of-the-line Chinese food herbs. The foods support the body's ability to heal itself, or regenerate, from a wide variety of conditions. I considered myself fairly healthy, but found a lot of little nagging conditions dropping away within a week of starting Sunrider foods. Many others have been cured of more major conditions. Check out their website, and if you're interested, please get in touch with me at ____@____.com can exchange further contact info, and I can mail you a DVD or CD with more info. Hope this helps!

I noticed that I felt much better when I totally removed aspartame (Equal) from my diet. I loved Diet Coke and chewed a lot of sugar free gum. When I removed it, I felt so much better...no achy joints and I could move so much better. It's fairly simple to avoid it. I hope that this helps.

Hi K.,
I googled your question and found the following:
Question: What is Cranial Sacral Therapy?

Answer:

Cranial Sacral Therapy is a technique based on Cranial Osteopathy. Like Cranial Osteopathy, Cranial Sacral Therapy seeks to restore the natural rhythmic movement found between the bones of the skull. It does the same for the movements of the sacrum. The purpose of this is to aid the circulation of the cerebrospinal fluid throughout the central nervous system.

However, Cranial Sacral Therapists believe that the natural movements at the skull bones come from the membrane that lines our nervous system structures, namely the brain and spinal cord. For this reason, their focus is on those membranes, rather than directly on the bones and sutures.

Unlike Cranial Osteopathy, Cranial Sacral Therapy is not taught in Osteopathic Colleges. This technique is often given by massage therapists and bodyworkers, who have engaged in further study and skill development.

I have used cranial sacral therapy off and on for the last 6 years or so. I love it. It's a light touch therapy...it's nothing along the lines of massagae at all. Sometimes your body responds to massage by tightening up and you almost feel worse than when you went in. Well that's been the case for me on a couple of occassions. But with cranial you are completely relaxed and I could feel the energy in my body just release and move. It's quite astounding. I've gone for a major hip injury, knee inury, post birth and for overall "body tune-ups" If you're in the Austin area I can give you the name of my therapist. Good luck!

My main symptoms of hypothyroidism were fatigue and leg pain. My symptoms went away after I started on thyroid meds.

That being said, I have heard good things about cranial sacral massage. If there was a practitioner closer to me I probably would try it myself.

K.,

I have no experience with cranial sacral massage, but a friend of mine was diagnosed with chronic fatigue, and she has had wonderful results with acupressure for allergies. It's alleviated so many of her chronic fatigue symptoms, and she's doing so much better! It's acupressure, not acupuncture. If you live in the Houston area I can get you the number to the doctor she's been seeing for the treatments.
