How was your experience? Could you recommend an OB doctor who delivers there?
I am due in march and I am thinking of switching doctors and hospital, because my last experience at the Fl Hospital was not the best...plus I live in the Ocoee area and the location of the hospital is priceless!
I talked to Sonia(Labor Doula) on the phone, and she was so kind in telling me about her experience in the different L&D's in the Orlando area. Hopefully I 'll make a decision soon! Thanks everyone!

It's so great that you are looking into the hospital you're considering delivering at! It's so important to not only research your midwife/doctor, but also the hospital/birth center!
I work in the birth field and although I'm sure there are many positive stories, I have yet to hear ONE good story from Health Central. Not just in birth, but in most every area in the hospital. They lack good support for laboring and postpartum mothers, and don't have any lactation help at all. I have heard "horror" stories one after another from Health Central, and have experienced my own trauma from that hospital. I would never ever recommend anyone go to that hospital for anything.
As I said, though, I'm sure there will be people who had wonderful experiences, but I have yet to hear them.

I have not delivered there, but my mother's OB/GYN is located in the hospital and delivers there as well. Her name is Dr. Farwick. She is very nice and I have heard very positive comments from many of her patients. I can't speak from personal experience, but at least it's a start! Best of luck to you!
I have heard nothing but terrible things about that hpospital. i have also had rpoblems there myself, and would never return there by choice. Iknow the Winnie Palmer is not close to you, but it is the best place for giving birth. The staff is geat, there is always someone avaiable if you need help. I had my son at Arnold Palmer two years ago and will never deliver anywhere else.
Hello there, I had my 12 year old daughter at Health Central Hospital. It was one of the best experiences I had with any of my 4 children. They were kind, caring, made a great dinner for My Husband and I after she was born. Free classes on bathing and brestfeeding. And they also do the 3D sonograms.
