I am curious/wondering if maybe I'm not crazy. I'm slightly worried that I may be pregnant. After having unprotected sex with my husband, I realized that we were really close to ovulation time (one of the few times we've done it since I went off the pill...due to the fact I didn't want to go back to the clinic, I know, my own mistake). In the past couple days, I've started getting sick (nauseated, upset tummy, couldn't drag my butt out of bed yesterday), getting real senative to smells (nearly threw up last night when my son was eating his dinner...he was in the kitchen and I was in the living room and could smell it), and now my breasts are super tender. I know a lot of people will say, "it's too soon to tell" but looking back on my pregnancy with my son, I started getting sick virtually the next day of his conception (I didn't find out I was pregnant until 8 weeks later, but looking back I saw that I should have known A LOT sooner!). I had a super hard pregnancy with him and I've got problems that could really make any other pregnancy problematic. I really don't want another child, but if I am pregnant, then I will accept it and love that child as much as I love my son.
Maybe I'm trying to convince myself I'm not. It's still too soon to do a home test. Do you think I'm nuts or is there a chance? Maybe there's no answer until time tells, but it's here in my head.

I started having the same symtoms when I am PMSing about a week or so before I start my period I alway think I'm pregnant cause I have the same symptoms as I would if I was then I get my period ( which hasnt been much since my IUD) and the symptoms top maybe your having a change in body chem because of being off of them or just because lol , relax if you are preg worring about it isn't good for either one of you.
Hi R., how are you? I know you are worried. Ir i were you, i would take a pregnancy test. You know your own body; and nowadays they have test that can detect pregnancy early; even after a few days of intercourse. I understand you don't want another child after how hard it was for you the first time. How does your husband feel? Will he be upset if you are pregnant? If the test comes back negative, go to the clinic for a second opinion. If your still getting negative results; and still feeling the same way; just way a few more weeks. Like you said, you know your body. I was the same way with my children. Good luck and god bless!
sounds like you have all of the symptoms!
When I went off the pill I had the same type of reaction to losing the synthetic hormones that my body had become accustomed to. If you really want to know right now if you are pregnant, then you can go to your doctor and request a blood test. They can tell through that type of test pretty much immediately.

You never know. I had the same kind of symptoms with my daughter. My urine had a very distinctive smell,and that was what really made me think I was, and sure enough.

Hey R.! A week before my oldest turned 1.. i found out i was preg. with another! I was scared to death..didnt want another one that soon (but i accepted him and i love him very much) it took me a few months into my preg. to really realize that i would okay!
but i was havin unprotected sex with my husband.. also, i was too lazy to go to the clinic..
Just go buy a preg. test or go to the doctor..the only way you can find out if you are or not..(me and my husband should buy stock in preg. test..we have bought so many just to sooth my conscience lol)
You will just worry yourself to death if you dont.. and that's not good for you or the child if you are preg.

Relax, Sweetie. If you ARE pregnant, the bible says that children are a reward from the Lord. I had four pregnancies, one was problematic and horrible but the others ranged from mild to ok. No pregnancy is the same. You could breeze thru this with never a look back.
If you are exibiting symptoms (I remember the breast thing, ouch!) then it would not be too early to do a home test. Get one of the good, brand name ones, EPT or something, (not one of the Wal-mart equate brands) wait at least 6 hours between times when you urinate, and then do the test. It will give you peace of mind to know.
I pray that the Lord blesses you and shows Himself strong in your life. I have 5 children, all blessings, all different, all wonderful! I love having a house full of kids. Never ending smiles wall to wall!!

I have been pregnant 8x, and knew with in days with each one. Maybe you have the flu, but sometimes you just KNOW. Hope things turn out the way you want.
Just take a breath and dont try and think about if you are or not until u take the test and see f you are or not. No need to put yourself under stress and u find out or not, either way let us know.
everyone is right you could be pregnant or you may not but the more you think about the more symptoms show up.....even just knowing you had unprotected sex you r probably looking for signs....im not saying you are or your not im just saying thats what i do....i have bought so many pregnancy tests its not funny....my boobs get sore once a month not always but mostly ...not during my period either ....as far as nausea alot of things trigger that ..... i know exactly how you feel....ive lived that for alot of yrs me and my husband we married 4 1/2 yrs bf i had my little girl never used birth control.....best thing to do is take a test and just relax if you think about it you may relize you have not been sleeping much and thats y ur so tired ....or like i said you could be just take it easy i hate to say ti but forget about it for a bit.....if you are then deal with it :) good luck i hope i know either way it will turn out great......ooo and one more thing have you ever had phantom baby movement ...haha thats the worst.....i cramped really bad for a week thats how i founnd out i was pregnant with my girl soo now every time i cramp and no period i just know....needless to say im not pregnant and have 1 child......the mind will mess with ya everytime, but at the same time you just know when u r lol i knwo im not any help...rambling on...just been working 12 hr so forgive me hope this makes sense gl.....:P
Well my husband and I recent found out that we are expecting again. Our daughter will be a year on Sept 22. I have a 3 1/2 yr old from a previous marriage and my husband has a 6 yr old and an almost 3 yr old from previous relationships. We already have more than enough kids. We had talked about having another one in 3 or 4 yrs, but thats not what happened. I have recently decided that everything happens for a reason. You may not feel it is time or you may not have wanted another child just yet. I do believe that Gad has his reasons and everything will work out for the best. However with you worrying so much it may be your mind playing tricks on you. I hope everything goes ok either way. I also have very hard pregnancy. I have very bad diabetes and it is very hard to control when I am not pregnant and even harder when I am. I also developed high blood pressure towards the end of both of my pregnancies. I can recomend a great high risk octor if you do end up needing one. His name is doctor Fadel. He is on the 5th floor at university. If you would like more information just let me know. You may not be crazy- just pregnant. My daughter was only 4 months old when I got pregnant with this baby. We thought we were being safe, but I knew the next day I was pregnant. I felt it from the start. I didn't know for a few couple weeks with my first child. I just felt it this time. So it is possible to know ahead of time. My doctor said to use a First Response test about 1- 2 weeks after I thought it happened because it was as accurate as the urine tests they use there. What do you know? I'm 8 months pregnant again. I wasn't sure I wanted more children when I got pregnant this time either, but it has all worked out and I am really, really glad it happened. Also, this pregnancy went by a lot quicker and with fewer worries than my first. I wish you the best of luck either way!
