Nail polish remover works wonders...
I am a single mom i have 2 beautiful babies, well my lill girl is 3 1/2; and my son is 1 1/2, and their day care was closed down for a few weeks due to water damage, so i have been helping my sister out cause i just lost my job a few weeks agao, and that is another story compleatly, well this morning my nephew got a hol of "nail polish", and he dumped it open, don't know how he got it open, but that is beside the point, now he has a purple forhead, and a little in his hair, and he is mixed races, black & white, and all over the hard wood floors, and i don't know how to get it off him or the floors,
please help !!!
So, i got the nail polish off my nephew, and it was just a good bath, and soap, i use ivory soap for myself just because $ is tight, and i can use it on my kids as well, and well the nail polish came off the floor, but it was my mother who did it, and she used polish remover; and it did take the finish off the floor, but i used this wood floor cleaner & protectant, so it did make the spot a little better, but i don't ever suggest using nail polish remover on wood floors. But i did use "zep" it is a commercial wood floor product, and like i said, it did cover up the stain a little better.
Thank you for all your responses, and advice.
This is the reson i am greatful for this site, and all my fellow moms

Try simple green on the floor. That stuff seems to get most of everything. Just don't put it on your child.
Good luck...!
The child it will come off after a good bath. It adheres to the skin which once wet will soap off.
Your floors, Nail polish remover is going to also remove the floors polish so be careful what ever you use.
Hi M.,
I have three children, that same thing happened to me, the very best thing I found was a product that can't be found in stores. It is very concentrated, and patent.

Eliminate mold odors
Freshen bathroom
Remove smoke or pet odor from air and furniture
Treat pet accidents
Because it patent I can't list it here please email me ____@____.com, I will be happy to tell you all about it! Good Luck!
I use rubbing alcohol to remove nail polish from about everything. Works great on wood, plastic, tile, etc.. As far as the nephew goes you can use it or nail polish remover and just make sure you wash it off right away after putting it on him. Good Luck!
Whenever I need to find out how to do something, I google it. I dropped nail polish all over a rug once and thought it was a gonner. I googled how to get it out and there were suggestions on there that I followed and it worked and it all came out. Google, "How do I get nail polish off wood floor".... I hope that helps you some.
