I agree with the freezing method. If that doesn't work, try SOL-U-MEL. It’ll take out EVERYTHING!
My son got silly puddy on a brand new Gymboree T-shirt and I can't figure out how to get it off!
Does anyone out there have any tricks to removing this stuff?
GREATLY appreciate your time!

Tyra,
Try ice and peeling the silly puddy off. Then use Goo-B-Gone to remove the leftover stickiness. My son got silly puddy wrapped up in his knitted "blankie" a few years ago and this trick worked great.
Good luck.

I'm just getting caught up on email and saw this one. If none of the other tricks worked here's one that WILL work (as I just went through this not to long ago). Lay the shirt on a towel and pour rubbing alcohol over it. Let it sit for five minutes or so, then take a butter knife and slowly slide the puddy off the shirt. You can also take another towel to blot some of it off. There's a chemical reaction from the rubbing alcohol and the components of the silly puddy that literally dissolve the puddy into a slightly liquid format. At the same time, I will tell you that when this happened to my daughter (she sat in it), we were left with a very slight (to the point of unnoticeable) grease stain. My husband actually googled methods to get it out, like you it was a brand new skirt, and this was one that was recommended. Wash it immediately after.
freeze it and scrape w/ dull knife.
ok 2 things to try first goo gone is a great fro stuff like that you can try that. another way is stick it in the freezer freeze it than scrap off the silly putty. or you can try heat transfer get a paper towel and lay it over the spot on the shirt than a rag and and than the hot iron. good luck!
Have you tried rubbing it with an ice cube or putting the shirt in the freezer until the Silly Putty gets hard and then breaking it off? It is also likely to leave an oily residue, so some product like Lestoil may be needed. Good luck!
