We had a boys name, but turns out it's a girl. :-) Middle name will be either Gail or Linda (after MIL). Our sons name is Austin. Name should have two syllables and can be unique or not. Help! We are stumped!
Barbara Gail
Eva Gail
Gina Gail (Gigi)
Gladys Gail
Carmen Gail
Mavis Gail
Hallie Gail
Zoya Gail
Shyla Gail
Megan Gail
Rona Gail
Abbie Linda
Brandie Linda
Eva Linda
Ava Linda
Sara (or Sarah) Linda
Donna Linda
Janelle Linda
Stacie Linda
I know you want a two-syllable name, but you could consider naming her Malinda (or Melinda) Gail to use both names.

I agree with the other post who suggested putting the 2 names together. I love Linda Gail. Ok I am a little bias since my daughter's name is Linda Ann. By the way Linda has become a very unique name.

I have 2 nieces with the middle name Gail. They were named after my sister who died many years ago. Her middle name was Gail, too. My nieces are Brittany Gail and Lindsey Gail.

I had a baby book that had lists in the front of what people assumed about a person when they heard their name. I can't remember the name of the book but I really liked it.
For example, if you named your daughter "Candy" most people think of bimbos or "Elizabeth," people think sophisticated and smart, or "Aubrey" would be sweet. You get the picture. It really helped us when we had to come up with 3 girl names.

I really like Aubrey Gail also! Has a nice ring! Linda is a tough middle name to match a first name too. Stick with Gail! ;) Amber Gail, Avalon Gail, Darla Gail, Emily Gail, Fiona Gail, Isabella Gail, Lilly Gail, Megan Gail (Mee-gan), Ryleigh Gail, Savannah Gail, Vivian Gail are a few more to chew on!

Would Lynn be close enough? How about Aubrey Lynn? Since your son is Austin... I thought another "A" might be nice.

I like having the same initials for both kids. Both of our kids' names start with "A" also. So when I put initials on clothing items, it helps with hand-me-downs of jackets, etc. (we have a boy and then a girl also). However, it also can make it harder.... if you use initials on the calendar for appts (or in later years: after school activities), you have to write out the full name... no using just initials, lol.
Ours are Aaron and Allison. It sounds nice on "family" signatures...

well it looks like my second daughters name is pretty popular, lol. here are my kids first names. i am constantly complimented on them.
aubrey gail
sydney gail
for our next we are considering brielle, delaney, or hayden, gail can really go with anything. Ls are soft and only one syllable. what about just naming the baby abigail. it incorporates gail and is nice with austin?
linda is a really hard choice for a middle name as it just doesnt ring with anything in front of it. and if you did use it, i think you would have to have a longer first name, the 2 syllable thing just doesnt sound right. also, alot of name choices are geographical. aubrey is very unusual here, but i think it is more popular down south. look up the social security website and you can see the top 500 names in the country for last year. it is a great way to here names that are actually used. those baby books are nice but some of the names are just to far out there. also you can check the top 100 by each state, so you can see whats popular(maybe to avoid it) in your area.
