Any ideas on how to keep my bed sheets from bundling up in the dryer? They end up trapping clothes inside and the whole thing just doesn't dry! Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks everyone for all your advice! Drying the sheets separately really worked for me!

I found it you wash things in categories ( ex. underwear only, linen and sheets, towels, clothes) and then when the wash is complete, put them in the dryer one by one. So for example if you are just taking one big pile of clothes straight into the dryer...you will get a big bulk of tangled items. But if you kind of put htem in one by one, no web.

Hope that helps :-)

I, too, wash my sheets and blankets separately from our clothes. To make the load a little bigger, I wash the crib sheets with our bed sheets. We just use All Free and Clear (instead of Dreft because it's cheaper and practically the same thing) so I don't have to worry about my baby's skin breaking out from scented detergents.

I NEVER WASH ANYTHING WITH MY SHEETS TO HAVE THAT PROBLEM. TRY WASHING THEM ALONE AS WELL!

put the sheets in by themselves and they flow more freely and they have nothing to trap.

It's the stupid fitted sheet! I wish I knew an answer other than drying it by itself.

I ususally wash everything seprately too. I still wind up with it bunching up! If I remember then half way through I will pull the sheets out and re-adjust them...if not then I wind up drying them twice!

Try adding two tennis balls to the load. I hear the blue dryer balls work (never tried them to say for sure).

Well, the way I do my laundry is by washing the sheets and bed spreads separately from the other clothes. I get the comforters, sheets, and pillow cases and wash them. Because if you do it with all your clothes then as you mention it won't dry up correctly....everything becomes a bundle. Hope this helps.:)
