I'm looking for a storybook teller for my daughter's 2nd birthday party. Does anyone know of a great storybook teller or service that provides storybook tellers?

What can I do next?

Call your local library and ask them. Most libraries have a children's librarian. He or she would have a list of local story tellers or may be willing to do it themselves.

My mother is a storyteller, although she hasn't done birthday parties, she has done stories at the preschool where I work, she does tales by the rails in grapevine, she has done stories for many different events. She dresses in costumes or in a nice outfit, depending on the event. She lives in the Keller area. What kind of stories are you looking for? If you would like to email me with any questions or a description of what your party is going to be like, I will have her answer you.

Hi my name is P. Haynes. I was a daycare provider that love story time and the carnival week theme. I chose what I love is entertaining children. I am a very good storybook teller that also have "The Party Carnival" that does children's Parties with face painting, games, storybook telling, and a bouncy house. I would love reading for your child party and making the story come to life with voice changing excitement. Please email me at ____@____.com

find someone who reads stories well. You might ask the library too.

I have been thinking of branching out to do this. My background is public speaking, but I love to do all the voices and make silly faces and such with my two girls. I might be willing to do it for free in exchange for a positive testimonial (if you like it, of course! lol). Feel free to send me a private message if you're interested.

I too would call the local libraries since many offer weekly storytime sessions with children. Good luck!
