Hi moms, I am looking for any help/advice you may have to offer. I'm writing for my cousin who is 39 years old and recently diagnosed with colon cancer. She has just started chemotherapy - had her first session and it kicked her b**t! So any suggestions there would be helpful...also, she has no insurance and is receiving care through the county hospital. I would be interested in helping her pay for any alternative therapies you all might know about or have experience with yourself - any healing services. She is a wonderful person and I just want to support her as much as I can. Thank you in advance for your help!

She should use tea tree oil mouth wash and toothpaste. It helps with the mouth sores.
My heart goes out to her.

So sorry about your cousin. Check out WeSpark in Sherman Oaks. They offer free services to women with cancer. It may be only breast or ovarian, but they would be a good place to start. Susie Jacobson, who teaches yoga there, is a wonderful healer for people dealing with cancer.
Blessings to you and your cousin.

Hi S.,

I want you to go to this site www.echobodine.com
in the mid center you will see a link that says healing pen pals, click on that. Echo is a very good friend of mine, I have proof she does miracles with people who are sick, write to them about your cousin, they will do healing on her. I swear this has helped so many people I could not count them all, you also can find a reiki healer that will help her with her energy. It might not help with the cancer, or it might but what it will do is to help her with her energy, with out her energy being up to fight the cancer, her body breaks down.

I hope this helps, I will keep her in my prayers

T Miles

S.,
My grandmother recently went through Chemo for lymphoma and supplemented her treatment with several alternative treatments. The first was diet (there is a book I believe on the cancer diet that related to maintaining a certain pH level in your body). She moved to all organic and cut out a lot of foods as recommended in the book. That seemed to really help with her energy and she's kept it up since the treatment. She also worked with a classical homeopath regularly throughout her treatment and was given regiments to use to combat the cancer as well as help her with the chemo side effects. Finally, she used (and continues to use) Iscador (spelling?) It is a natural cancer treatment and I believe she took it through injections. She was under the treatment of a doctor who worked with Iscador and monitored her progress with that. I believe none of this was covered by insurance and I have listed the methods in order of what I believe is least to most expensive.
I hope that helps, my prayers go out to your cousin. Please feel free to contact me with any more questions. I know my grandmother also works with a massage therapist and acupuncturist regularly, but I am not sure if these were used in relation to the cancer.
Blessings,
M.
