Let me know what you find out. I have the same problem and I am havintg a tummy tuck in less than 2 weeks.
I am wondering if anyone out there has tried thermage on their tummies. I had 2 fairly large babies, and most of the 50 lbs I gained each time went right to my stomach. So now that I've lost all of the weight, the loose, sagging, wrinkled extra skin on my stomach is DISGUSTING. And the extra skin makes it hard to find clothes that fit right - if it fits there it's too big everywhere else. I think the only hope is a tummy tuck, but I'm scared of that. I've seen internet pics of thermage on the stomach, but I hate to spend the money if its not going to do much good.

I haven't tried thermage BUT do know of a great product that may help tighten loose skin. It is definitely cheaper than a tummy tuck!!! Please contact me at beautywithbalance.myarbonne.com, the product is Arbonne's body serum/lotion combo.

Electro-lipo may just be what you are looking for. By using cold laser, micro-current and sound waves we can sculpt, tighten and tone loose sagging skin to help you regain that youthful, pre-baby tummy! This procedure is non-invasive, requires no recovery time and is completely safe and effective. The results are breathtaking! Packages of 10 are recommended as the end result is cummulative, however you will see results after just one session! Call me for more details-- ###-###-#### J. www.bodyshopfitnessinc.com
Hi S.-
I am a mother of a 17yr old & 3 yr old girls. I too had the same problem. I have found a wonderful product called itworks Ultimate Body Applicator System. It works so well and fast that I decided to become a distributor of them. They cost $20. It takes 45 minutes to do. I have lost a total of 10 1/2 inches on my stomach since November 07 using these applicators. No sweating or excerise required. Not water weight lose. The inches will stay off for 2-6 months with little maintance. And absolutely no surgery! Save your money!
You can go to my website and check them out www.itworks.net/quickwrap or call me ###-###-####
Hi Suzi,
I too had loose tummy skin for years. I had two children, (ages 10 and 11 now)both C sections and I am a fitness/dance instructor so I had lost my weight, and am in good shape. I did every kind of sit up known to man (and then some) and nothing helped.
I had a tummy tuck and now I am wearing a bikini again and loving it! I also noticed that all my clothes fit so much better. My plastic surgeon is a doll-his name/address/and phone are below. This is what I recommend, but good luck with whatever you choose!

Hi S.,
I have a product that may help you. It's a two part lotion set from Arbonne International. I have before and after photos of a lady who had loose skin around her stomach from having 5 babies, and the skin tighened up just from using the lotions. I can email you the photos if you contact me. The products are amazing. they are formulated in Switzerland and made here in the US, so they are the best products, made under the best manufacturing practices. They are all natural and vegan. The two lotions are in our anti-aging line and are the Reactivating Body Serum and Refinish Hydrating Body Lotion.
It worth taking a look at before you decide if you want to do any kind of laser or surgery.

Dear S.,
I am a plastic surgeon and we just spent three weeks getting demonstrations of thermage and some other "radiofrequency" lasers, which are supposed to tighten skin. I, too, was impressed with the photos, and I brought three patients in with loose tummy skin for the demo. The results so far have been disappointing - only one patient has noticed a difference at all, and so I am not getting the laser, how can I recommend that? It's the same with what other physicians who have it tell me - it can work, but not necessarily with everyone, it is somewhat technician dependent, so it is a risk to spend your money on it, as it is thousands per treatment! I actually want to the laser for my OWN stretched out tummy skin - I will keep looking and I'll tell you if I find anything great! I am avoiding the tummy tuck for now - the results are great but the scar is long, and the recovery takes a few weeks.
I have a little extra skin above my very nasty c-section scar . I plan to have the skin revised with my next c-section ( just a bit cut off to pull the skin tighter and make the scar look better) A tummy tuck involves not only resecting skin but the abdominal wall muscles as well.
You can make the area look better not only by losing weight( which you already did , congrats !) but firming up the abdominal wall muscles. Sometimes the abdominal wall developes separations during pregnancy and you need to work out the muscles and give the separations time to close up.
I'd take some Pilates classes ( which really work your core muscles) and see if that helps . By firming up the underlying muscles your skin will be pulled up and appear tighter. Then less invasive laser therapy will be more effective.

Hi S.,
Same situation for me, had 2 huge kids, lost a ton of weight and now I have the same extra/loose skin issue. Thermage will NOT work. Unfortunately, the only answer for us is a tummy tuck. Thermage is very, very slight in its effect and is primarily used for faces/necks. In the cases where it's used on tummies, there is very little to be done and it looks better, but not great afterward. It's not strong enough to remove or shrink an "apron" of skin. I'm going in for a tummy tuck in February, but between now and then I'm going to have a procedure called SmartLipo that will take away the stubborn fat pockets that won't disappear no matter how much weight I lose. It's a temporary quick fix. But a tummy tuck is still the only way to remove the apron.
You know S., I'm 50 & have 3 grown kids. I've found the best way to lose your tummy or any other flabby skin is to do exercise. I've started regular exercising at age 35. Yeah, I've been off & on but you know, exercising 1/2 hour to 45 mins at least 3x a week, will do you wonders. Start slow, then increase to what you can do. Hey girl, you gotta start somewhere - you'll better about yourself, your health will get better and girl, you'll even look good!!!. This I guarantee 'cos I've totally experienced it - but you gotta START! My stomach is my worst enemy(especially at this age), but w/ regular sit-ups & exercise, I'm happy to be a size 6!! When I was carrying my 3 kids, I went up to 180 lbs from 112 lbs & a size 16!!!!! Oh the agony!!
But, S., I truly feel exercise will break all your barriers!!! Wishing you that best and good luck!! Aloha! Kathy
I can't give you any advice because i am in the same boat you are. I've lost all my baby weight and left with a nasty stomach. I would love to hear what people say about the product. Otherwise i will get a tummy tuck when my daughter is 3.
i just had a tummy tuck and breast lift at the same time in december. i am so glad i did it! i have 30 year & 28 year old sons. i have put up with the stomache issue you mention farrrrr toooo long! of course, there are scars but i was aware of that. the trade off is worth it! my stomache is flat in my jeans & i joined the gym. now i feel i can work out & i will see results! i recommend it. i was scared too but it was a 28 year goal i finally made happen. good luck!
Hi S.,
If it works, let me know ! I've had 4 kids, and unlike my mom who never left a size 3, I'm still trying to dump the baby weight and have had a plastic surgery consult, and am also not jumping for joy at that thought! By the way, how did you lose the weight ? Best to you and yours..
Well, I have been interview surgeons for lipo. I don't really have loose skin, just fat that won't go away with diet. I saw some pictures of women like you and let me tell you, the tummy tuck results are AMAZING!! These women (some with HUGE amount of loose skin) came out with a flat tummy! Very impressive!! That is an extreme measure though. I have decided to go with lipo with Dr. Grover in Newport and have surgery next week. I recommend him if you decide that route. He also does lots of other procedures, maybe even the thermage.
Hi, my name is A. and I am a clint of Jennifer M. from the body shop. I too have lost weight with extra lose skin. I have had 3 kids of my own back to back. I was not wanting to under the knife but didn't think I had any other choices...until Jennifer ran into this new procdure. I just completed my 4th round and wow what a difference. My stretch marks are fading, my tummy is tighening and my extra fat that I was holding onto is melting away. We did my neck and face and we almost cried after one treatment yesterday. What a hugh difference. All my friends are totally noticing a difference in my body. It is soooo worth the call and visit to Jennifer M.
Hello S.,
I was not familiar with Thermage for your stomach, so I googled it and came up with the below article.
http://www.nbc10.com/health/4816024/detail.html?taf=phi
I know you are already familiar with the procedure, I included the link to the article so you will know what I was referencing. From what I can see it can get pretty costly, but it does say it seem to work over a few months of having the procedure done.
I also wanted to let you know of some other alternative methods, which would be a lot less costly, that can help you lose or should I say tighten up the loose skin along with exercising. I represent Herbalife International, and many many people have had great results with their products, I am one of them. You can visit my site at www.shopherbalife.com/kess24 and read more about Cell-U-Loss, Aminogen, and our Herbal Concentrate tea, which comes in many flavors. I really believe Herbalife can help you reach your goal. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call me at ###-###-#### or email me at ____@____.com. There are also some testimonies on my herbalife site if you look under the weight management tab and select the success stories.
Best Wishes,
D. Miller
