I have a friend who homeschools, if I suggest this site, do you think she can get lots of help and questions answered??
Yes, there are a lot of homeschooling moms on here. One thing I do when I ask questions about homeschool is ask that only experienced homeschooling moms respond. Otherwise you get responses from people who knows someone who knows someone else that homeschools and you don't get the right information.
As with any question you will have people who have no clue what they are talking about respond with the worst advice. This site isn't for homeschooling only but as long as she doesn't mind opinions and just that then sure she should come here.
I'm a homeschooling mom and I've answered a lot of homeschooling questions. I haven't asked any homeschooling questions or read other people's responses so I'm not sure if there was any negative or discouraging responses. I've had great luck with this site as far as getting helpful information. =)
My answer is a lukewarm "yes" . . . it really depends on what she is seeking.
I haven't found this site to be that "pro" homeschooling but there are some good questions and answers every so often. She would have to wade through lots of non-homeschooling questions to find them.

Yes and No theres ome moms on here who do but theres a site she can go on in michigan with home school moms and it similair to this site but they talk all about homeschool issues.

I've noticed LOTS of homeschooling Moms here.
(As long as she can look past the anti-homeshcoolers posts....she will get advice she DIDN'T ask for, as well as lots of advice she did, just sayin'!)
