Horse Boarding in Corinth, Denton, Lake Cities, Argyle, Copper Canyon?

Help! I just found out I need to find a new location to board my horse asap. I need to keep him off of spring grasses because he has foundered in the past, so a dry lot is needed. I don't require fancy accomodations or a stall, just shelter from the elements in bad weather and a safe environment. I have lots of hay and feed to provide and can do the work myself if the location is close enough - we live in Corinth. A short term solution (30-60 days) is the immediate need, althought we would gladly consider a long term arrangement as well. He is gentle as a kitten and good around children and animals of all kinds. Any ideas and suggestions will be considered. Do you know of anyone who could help?

I have a client in Argyle who boards horses and does an awesome job. Call Tommy at ###-###-#### and he can tell you whether they have any more room. His ex-wife also has a horse farm so if he doesn't have room, he may refer you to her. Obviously they're still good friends! =) Good luck!

My parents have 10 acres in Hickory Creek and might be able to help you out on a temporary basis. Please give me a call if you haven't already made arrangements, and we can talk and I can put you in touch with them.

I pass by 2 horse boarding places on my way to work. They are located on Country Club road in between Denton and Argyle. From Corinth, head toward Denton on Teasley (Fm 2181). Turn left on Hickory Creek road by the Kroger. Take it all the way around to FM 1830. Take a left going toward Bartonville. Country Club road is the second road on the right. The smaller one is on the right side of the road and the larger boarding place is on the left.

L., I know there is a place in Shady Shores; but, I do not know the name of it. If you come down Shady Shores Rd. to the " T " in the road just pass the Shady Shores Baptist church, turn left on Garza, pass Stephen's Elementary school, and at the end of that road, on the left is a boarding stables. I know a prominent chiropractor in Denton had her horses boarded there while building her home and she was very happy with the accommodations.

I think Aubrey may be your best bet. There are so many stables around there. The only other stable I know about is in East Plano so it would be a drive.
