I am wanting to move my daycare back down to my basement but we have a pool table down there and that is one reason why I moved it up here but I could really use the space how can I store it until my kids get older and want to use it we do have a shed out back that has the lawn mower in it but don't know if that would work. Thank you!

What can I do next?

The daycare we use has a pool table in the daycare area. They put a cover on it. It is used for a big changing table for all the kids. It is enough space to have all of the diaper stuff and still be out of the way. I would say if it isn't too much in the way try and use it to your advantage.

My brother in law stored his in the attic...it all came apart pretty easily and he just made sure to store the parts on the support beams. The slate top was the most difficult part because it was heavy, even when it was three separate pieces, he just got help lifting it into the attic. He stored it there for three years. When he reassembled it, he did have to pay someone to come level the slate, but he said it was a cheap service, since he moved it and did all the rest himself.

if the top is not stored LEVEL, it will warp over time. You may be better off selling it, saving the $$, & buying a new one later on.

As a former storage facility manager, I highly suggest NOT storing it. Give it away, or sell it and put the money away to use to buy a new one when your kids get old enough to want one (if they ever want one). Nothing survives storage of any kind for very long, no matter how careful you are when you store it. Much better to let someone get some use from it.

The only problem with storing it in the shed would be the moisture. Since I'm sure your shed isn't temperature and humidity controlled, L.-term exposure to the varying conditions in a shed could damage the wood. Also, if it has a one-piece slate, that is extremely heavy!

S.,
If you can take it apart, then get the bubble wrapping and wrap it up and put it in the shed, or maybe an attic. If you can't take it apart and you can afford it, then just rent a small storage place where you can put it.
Best wishes
