I am wanting to take a couple of my favorite Disney movies and transfer them over to my iPod so my little one can watch while we are driving or out shopping. I can't seem to figure out how to do this. Do I need a special software?? Can someone please tell me how to do this?? THANKS

What can I do next?

you need software to do this. I've found DVDfab works very well. I was also able to download a 30 day trial for free (with the trial copy, the words dvdfab will come up on the top left corner of the movie periodically - my kids didn't seem to mind).

if they are not from iTunes you can find programs that will convert the files to ones iTunes will use. I'm not sure of the names off the top of my head, but my husband uses them all the time.

You need to buy a DVD ripping program for your computer. It will allow you to convert your DVD into a digital copy that you can transfer to your iPod.
