oohhhh can I come over? I love pumpkin cheesecake!!!
I'd put it in the fridge and keep it in the pan you baked it in.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I am making a Pumpkin Cheesecake. How should I store this? In the frig? In a cake holder? How long will it stay fresh in a cake holder if I put it in there?
Thank you. :-)
Hope everyone has a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
EDIT: Thank you Mama Pals! I will store in the frig with a loose cover! :-)
@Cheryl: Of course my Mama Friend...you can come over! :-) heee heee hee....
I wish all my Mama friends could get together for a Mama Tea Party! That would be so awesome!
HUGS to you all! And thank you again for awesome advice!

And cover very loosely because otherwise it gets soggy from condensation....
Welll....When I make my delicious pumpkin pies (I buy them from Costco) they come in a handy little cake carrier and stay fresh for like a week!
Oh yeah, in the fridge of course!
I made 2 double batches of mini pumpkin cheesecakes on Sunday, (I was taking 24 of them to work on Monday)... but of the 24 that we were "allowed" to eat, by the time Monday came, there were only about 8 left! They were so yummy!
it took up space, but I stored them in a cake pan in the fridge with foil on top.. I didn't want to stack them.
Fridge, but remember to pull it out of the fridge so if can soften before you serve.
For sure the fridge. You don't want it to get too soft and although the cream cheese would probably be okay being left out, it is a processed cheese after all ;), I think you still want to keep it in the fridge for the sake of the eggs and the preservation of it's integrity. Sounds yummy!
Cheesecake in the fridge. Pumpkin pin in a non-refrigerated closed contain--the oven if I am not going to bake anything else. A pie rarely lasts more than 2 days here--we like it too much!
I always refrigerate cheesecake. If you don't have room in the fridge, put it in your cake holder once it's completely cooled to avoid condensation and then put it on your back porch where it should be nice and cold outside. That's assuming, of course, you don't have a dog or wild animals that will try to come grab the goodies. :-)
My mom will put her stuff that needs the fridge out in coolers in the breezeway when there's no room. I have a closed in back porch that I use.
