How Early/Late Were Your Babies Born?

My first was 3 days late. I started to dialate about a month before he was born and we were doing everything to try and bring him out. My second was 5 days early and we did nothing to try and bring her out.

My first baby was 4 days early- 6lbs, 7 ozs 19 inches
My second, 4 days late- 8 lbs, 8 ozs, 21 1/2 inches
My third, 7 days late- 9 lbs, 3.5 ozs, 21 inches

Before babies, I always figured the 1st to be late and subsequints earlier- but they come when they are ready. My OB scheduled inductions for the last 2 given their size BUT both of them came before that (my 2nd just hours before)- All on their own terms!

Congratulations on your new baby. Both of my sons were born early. The first one was born six weeks early and I dilate very quickly so had a complete natural childbirth. My doctor had told me that since my first one came early, the second might come earlier. Well, he sure tried to come at 32 weeks, but with hospitalization and bedrest for three weeks, he was born at 35 weeks and 5 days. Again, I dilated very quickly and barely made it to the hospital.

My first was 2 weeks early, and my second was 3 weeks early....congratulations....how exciting.

My first was a natural non-induced birth - 8 days overdue! My second was induced b/c of size 1 week early - and my 3rd was 3 weeks early - I had preterm labor starting at 26 weeks - and made it all the way to 37 weeks but ended up with a c/s.

#1 - 8# 2 oz
#2 - 9# 10 oz
#3 - 7#

my second was 1 week late...
my cousin's second cam e2 weeks late..
yes you can plan on a natural birth just find a doctor /midwife who monitor closely and will let you wait it out rather than induce you

My first was born 2 weeks early . . . I actually went into pre-term labor two months early and had to be on medication until we got closer to her due date. #2 was only 3-4 days before her due date, and #3 was only a couple of days before her due date . . . we thought she would never come out! For all three I went into labor in the very early a.m. hours. The first two were both born in the 10:00 a.m. hour and #3 was born at 8:28 a.m.

So I guess I don't fit that mold that the second and third born come sooner! Not to mention that #2 wound up being an unscheduled C-Section. So really, there is no planning for this!

I went into labor with my first at 41 weeks, then 38 weeks with the following two. The first two were 8 pounds 10 ounces and the third was 8lbs 14 oz; I wonder if my uterus is just ready to ship em out at that weight? :)

My daughter was first and she was three days early. 11 months later we had our son and he was four days late. Kinda backwards from what people say about after the first they come earlier.

Our 1st was 4 days late, the 2nd was uneventful, a planned repeat c-section, and the 3rd was 4 weeks early! He was just fine at 35 1/2 weeks but I laid in bed for 3 hours trying to talk myself out of labor-It wasn't in our schedule yet! Good luck and best wishes on one of God's greatest miracles again!

My second- 1 day early
My third- 1 day late

I was three weeks early on the dot. People are different though but my mom was also early with both of use. So, maybe try asking your mom if she was late or early.

Both of mine were within 2 days of the due date.

Walk toward the end of the pregnancy; it seems to make everything "happen".

My second baby came 2 weeks early(due the 19, but born on the 6th) and my third baby was almost 3 weeks early(due on the 29 and born on the 9th). Perfect pregnancies and both born healthy, my second weighed 9.1 and third was 7.5.

I was induced 7 days late with my first, 8lbs. my second was 3 days early 8lbs-ish, my next was 6 days early, 8lbs-ish, my twins were three weeks early, 5.5 and 6.6 lbs and my latest I was induced 2 days late, 9.5 lbs.
