How much do you tip a cleaning service that comes once a month or do you tip at all? Typically, there are two women and they stay about 2 1/2- 3 hours and charge $95. Thanks...

Hi K.
I don't tip my cleaning service or any of the cleaning ladies I've had in the past.I give them a holiday bonus but I don't think you have to tip them.

I've wondered the same thing! I have the same 2 women come and do a wonderful job, not to mention how sweet they are. I thought, of course I should tip them. I asked around and found no one tipped their cleaning service so we went with the majority. We gave them a holiday bonus and they both seemed very appreciative.

We tip ($20) each time to our cleaning lady, (we pay 105 for the work). We only tip this much because we've been through way too many cleaning ladies who did a semi decent job and who barely spoke english.. And we want her to know that we appreciate her service. This one cleans very nicely and she goes above and beyond. (It takes her about 5 hours to clean our place but she also does our laundry and puts things where they belong.. or tries to.)

if they do a good job, then you can leave a tip. I have a service come weekly and I always leave them something. They are performing a service, so we feel they should get something.
